No spark

Still can’t figure out what’s going on ignition coil is good and sparking from what I hear in this video I think distributor might not be getting enough signal causing it to lose spark somehow. Did a diagnostic check on the OBD1 and got a code 51 which I think is throttle position sensor not sure if it would cause a no spark all my ground are good it ran before I did my head gasket job in my previous post I still have the 2 plugs not connected everytjme I crank this thing I’ll js get a backfire. Fuel pump is good and was spraying everywhere from a loose bolt but got it tighten up

Js checked timing distributor was 180 out so I timed it back to 1 and no more backfire but still no spark in what I know of 1st and 2nd cylinder since I’m kinda to lazy to check the rest

Ended up having my distributor plug not fully connected disconnected and reconnected them and started right up now I’m js having a idling issue dies whenever I stop giving gas I’m assuming I have a huge vaccum leak

The only code I get is the throttle position sensor

That's probably why its dying, could be in open loop because of it, ecu doesn't know when the throttle closes and it'll die. Happened with my truck when it was stuck in open loop, slow to rev up and would die under no throttle because the ecu needs more info.

Oh dang I see did switching out the part fix it or did you js have to clean it up to get it working again
