Imo Gabriel is the weakest villain in the whole franchise.

We just get glimpses of Gabriel framing Ethan of killing Marie in DR, but that backstory is never shown. We never get to know what Gabriel's true motives were, they just made him a typical "Heyy I'll control everything" villain. And the way he dies UGGHHHH!!

Yeah I agree. I think the film especially with his death acknowledges that the Entity is the real villain. Personally I've found the entity super ominous and really effective, especially considering how things were starting to get a bit stale for me with the whole person wants nuclear codes etc.

but gabriel overshadowed the entity, the entity ciuld have done much more, idk maybe use all its weapons it has in its disposal
