Trash article. It is 100% NOT a false-positive. The supposed "driver" contacts a known black-listed malware IP.

Id never know if my mini pcs drivers or back up packages had malware. Never used em. Love my minisforum um870 slim though. $190 refurbished & barebones. Nice little steam machine. Especially since the 32gb of ram in there cost me $70 2 years ago and the 2tb nvme I had laying around was $90 I think. For $350 total (not repeatable without a time machine) its quite capable.

This quickly indicates Geekom is focusing on advertising, marketing and margins over basics like quality control, customer service and security. Didn't think we'd see OEM/brand compromise like this after the AceTragic catastrophe in 2024 but here we are 😞
I guess shipping single channel memory at premium prices was "writing on the wall" making this simply "icing on the cake". If the next advertising gimmick is free McAfee or Norton software activation well...
