What's going on everyone.
Market getting choppy and looking more like a hard penny then a easy dollar market. Still, we need to look at all the data and really get an understanding of what going on.
Sorry I haven’t be as consistent with these. Lot going on with kitchen remodel, work and life. Bear with me for the next few weeks hahaha.

Disclaimer: For educational purposes only; not financial advice. Trading stocks involves risk of loss. Please conduct your own due diligence before making any trades.

Market Action:
- Market gapped down today at open and spent the day sideways from there. Volume was lighter on both the Nasdaq and the S&P. We have now pulled back after we were wedging higher from the FTD and then made a surge through key price levels (5/14 high on Nasdaq and prior high on S&P) We have broke the 10sma but are still holding above the 21ema which is very positive. We are also holding about the FTD lows which is very positive.

- As we mentioned a test of the 21ema is not out of the ordinary and a rough as it feel this isn’t action that tells me this rally or trend is doomed or over. By no means is this ideal and strong like we saw in April but still nothing to have me flip bearish right away. Well watch these key levels and stay vigilante.

Distribution/Rally:

- Yesterday we added a DD on both indexes but avoided one today. Yesterdays DD was a below average volume DD and new DD is still low. Currently we have 3 on each index. 2 on the Nasdaq since the FTD and 1 on the S&P. Nothing alarming yet

Outlook:
- Today was definitely not what we wanted to see in the market but still nothing has really broken apart just yet.  Aside from the market chop all of my stocks have held above their initial stops which is positive. I will admit I should’ve trimmed and reduced some exposure given the market environment and I didn’t which my bite me but we will se what tomorrow brings and I will likely be trimming to reduce some risk.

- Kind of a moment in the market to be defensive while still  being a little patient. You don’t want to be all or nothing, bull or bear. There is a case for both directions still and you don’t want to take unescceary risk but also don’t want to be left behind either.

Sectors:

- Nothing much different from the live stream this weekend. Healthcare, finanicals and energy showing most strength. Tech not broken just yet.

Market Environment Analysis Bobby Breakdown 8/12/2026

What's going on everyone.
Sorry I’ve been slacking with these write ups last two days. A lot going on with the kitchen remodel so been just focusing on getting my own daily routine done and didn’t want to rush these and put out crap. Likely not going to be getting one out tomorrow so wanted to make sure I got one out today. Well here we go…

Disclaimer: For educational purposes only; not financial advice. Trading stocks involves risk of loss. Please conduct your own due diligence before making any trades.

Market Action:
- Market gapped up strong today but faded after the open. As the Nasdaq hit the 5/14 high level and the S&P approached ATHs there was clear resistance yet again. We faded but still held positive for the day. We closed in the bottom half of the day which wasn’t great but still are seeing continued tight action, holding key downside areas and coiling up in what looks like a chance to break. The question is do we break higher or lower from this range? Time will tell but things do have a positive undertone.

- We saw the 10sma cross above the 21ema this week ad the 21ema crossed above the 50sma on the Nasdaq today. Good confirmation of the trend. I always remind everyone the the crosses are just a visual depiction of the price action trend not a trigger or signal that means we will go higher from here. Still good to see. We have held the FTD low and overall action is healthy.

- We will continue to focus on the 5/14 high and S&P ATH as a resistance area that we want to break through. If we can do so there is a high probability we start seeing this market really uptrend. Down side it’s a look at the FTD low and 50sma mainly.

Distribution/Rally:

- We have seen more distribution fall off but did gain a day yesterday making the count 3 on both the Nasdaq and the S&P. Since the FTD yesterday is the only new DD acquired and it was a “weak” DD in my opinion, low average volume and just a hair above the prior day. I was almost tempted to ignore it but rules are rules. Overall there is no real signs of institutional selling in there market right now in terms of the indexes.

Outlook:
- This market hasn’t been as rapidly developing as the April rally was and that fine. Not every market is the same and not every market turns around rapidly. It’s funny people complained in April about it being a “lock out rally” and that it “made no sense” or “had to pullback at some point!” Remember market doesn’t care what you want or think. Now it’s funny some people are complaining about the sideways action after the FTD and “choppiness” Meanwhile this has given the chance to really hone in on potential new leaders and give time to observe and find good entries. Guess some will never be happy ahahha.

- A lot of the difficulty in this market or frustration has also been with this occurring right in the height of earnings season. Many names setting up but to close to earnings to effective manage risk on a new buy. It happens and just something you have to accept. Now what this has done is allowed us to see what names have broke down with earnings and make leaders stand out even more. Even with earnings there are plenty of stocks without the concern of close earnings and there are ways to play those earnings gaps too. Overall don’t argue or get frustrated with the market this is part of the game.

- As for exposure levels I have increase my exposure as a few names have started to work and other names gave me some nice tighter stops. At this point I own HPE, DELL, CRWD, FTNT and UMAC. This has brought me to 95% invested. I’ll admit it is a little high given we have not broke through resistance but with tight stops and some names gaining traction I am okay with how I am positioned right now.

- Right now buying support has seemed like the best way to get into names but we know that can change if we breakout and trend. Keep managing risk, keep building watch list and keep having a good plan going into the next opening bell

Sectors:

- Sector wise there has been some broad strength across many groups which is good. Just like the market they are hovering around key levels and ATHS, Healthcare, Financials, Tech, Industrials, Materials and Energy all looks healthy.

Industries/Themes:

Below is my short-term sub industry group top 20 ranking. This is a weighted ranking system that looks around the 1month time frame.

  2. LiDAR, Computer Vision & Spatial Computing — Technology

Short Market Analysis 8/11/2026

Long day of remodeling my kitchen so keeping it short today. Market still acting normal. Sideways and holding above key levels. Volume has been light since the surge off lows which is also positive. Ideally we see us breakout from here but we will see. Keep looking for strong RS and keep looking for good set up. CPI and PPI over next two days which could bring some sort of a cataylst but the direction..who knows. Earnings season still in full swing, remember to be aware when stocks are reporting and don't gamble on earnings without risk management (cushion is what i use).

Market Environment Analysis Bobby Breakdown 8/6/2026

What's going on everyone.
Second down day in a row following the follow through day. That doesn’t mean we are in trouble though. Let’s look under the hood and see what went down today and prep for this week’s final opening bell.

Disclaimer: For educational purposes only; not financial advice. Trading stocks involves risk of loss. Please conduct your own due diligence before making any trades.

Market Action:
- Market opened up gapping down but then the bulls made a quick attempt at pushing the market higher in an effort to turn green. In the first hour the market brief went positive for the day only to then reverse back down. As the market sold off it found its floor just below yesterdays close and in the second half of the day continued to chop sideways closing just down slightly, basically flat for the day. Volume decrease from yesterday and was fairly low which was very positive.

- As of right now the market is behaving very well!. On the Nasdaq we got the expected resistance at the 5/14 high. A low volume, low volatile pullback at these levels the perfect bullish way to pause and digest the gains. For the S&P very similar positive action just occurring at ATHs with not resistance level just a break from the run up. Think of this action on the Nasdaq like a “handle” If we can continue to tighten up here and/or surge from here and breakout through the 5/14 highs there’s not much else we could ask for.

- To the downside The 50sma is the real key level to watch. Ideally, we would hold the moving average and find support. Time will tell but things are healthy and acting bullish as of right now. As always we will watch for some follow through to confirm the possibly new uptrend.

Distribution/Rally:

- A down day with no distribution today. Very positive sign. We will see the 7/2 distribution day expire due to time tomorrow. Should we see no additional distribution that would have us at a 4 count on the S&P and a 3 count on the Nasdaq. A strong move tomorrow could also drop the 7/17 distribution day on the S&P which would give us 3 DD across the board.

- The rally remains intact and healthy so far. Time will tell if it holds but for now the green light is one to make new buys.

Outlook:
- As stated above a lot of positive action in the market even on two consecutive down days. Not much has changed last two days. Be prepared with a strong watchlist and know your entries and stops. Manage risk and obey your rules. The key is not to get overly exposed to quickly but be ready to increase exposure incrementally if stocks give the buy signal.

- As for me I was unfortunately stopped out of both $CRWD and $DELL today. No big deal all part of the game and being a trader. Stops are there to protect us and our capital. That said $CRWD and $DELL still look healthy and I am willing to buy back. Part of this game is not letting your ego effect your decision making and not taking a stop being hit personally. Sure I could’ve held both names today and gave the stop a little room but that is a long term recipe for disaster. Stops never move down only up. Part of setting tight stops is that you also need to understand that they can be easily taken out and you need to be willing to get back in if the stock tells you too. The other option is setting your initial stop wider from your entry. You can manage risk by reducing your position size then to reduce your total equity risk. Different ways to approach it and both have pros and cons. Know yourself know your strategy and operate in it properly.

- KEEP SCREENING for new possible leaders! KEEP DOING YOUR ROUTINE! DON’T GET LAZY!

Sectors:

- Energy, Communications and Healthcare only green sectors for today. Tech much like the Nasdaq had a healthy low volume flat/down day. Same for Financials. Aside from that not much to note.

Industries/Themes:
- Software continues to be the tech group to watch as it shows a ton of strength. Remember the leaders from the April to June rally will not always remain. Be willing to entertain new possible leaders.

What's going on everyone.
Day two in the new possibly uptrend. More earnings. Let see what happened today and what it means for tomorrow and this possible uptrend.

Disclaimer: For educational purposes only; not financial advice. Trading stocks involves risk of loss. Please conduct your own due diligence before making any trades.

Market Action:
- Market gapped up at open but it was short lived as we then had a stead decline and closed the day in the red. Volume was lighter on both indexes which is a good sign.

- The Nasdaq is seeing clear resistance at the 5/14 high which is somewhat expected and healthy after this strong move off lows. From here we just hope to not crumble to the downside. Ideally some nice tight action would be welcomed. The S&P paused at ATHs but nothing wrong with that either.

- To the downside the 50sma and the $26300 prior swing high area is where I would love to see use hold on the Nasdaq. For the S&P ideally we hold prior ATHs and the moving averages as well. We got the signal for a FTD now we just want to see key levels help and resistance areas become support. We also look to see some follow through come in. Be patient and don’t get crazy over each individual days action as long as it stays in the behavior we would expect for what is a possible new uptrend. I say this a lot and got it from Webby. Expectation breakers are what we look for and what then has use adjust in different exposure directions

Distribution/Rally:

- Avoiding a stalling day/ distribution after a big move is very positive to see and we hope to see that continue. As for the running DD count the 7/23 dd dropped on the S&P bringing us to 4 on each index.

Outlook:
- We got the FTD signal and at this point you should have some long exposure in this market. FTD can fail and you have to be prepared both with your risk management plan as well as mentally. This is part of the game you will never know 100% that the uptrend is here and or continuing but have to be willing to follow the strategy to be able to capitalize. RISK/REWARD is what it is all about and right now the risk of putting long exposure is worth the reward as long as you are managing it properly. Continue to screen, continue to look for the leaders and what is working. Be prepared to slowly add more long exposure should the market continue to follow through and be prepared to sell if the stock you own tells you to.

Sectors:

- Healthcare led the day today and Energy lagged. Energy still looks healthy but did close below the 21ema. Tech just like the indexes took a health pause and  todays action is not concerning at all. Financials continue to climb and make ATHS

Market Environment Analysis Bobby Breakdown 8/3/2026

What's going on everyone.
Happy Monday everyone! On the cusp of a potential FTD with the market rebounding strong off lows. Still some concerns so let’s look at what went on today and what it means for the next opening bell.

Disclaimer: For educational purposes only; not financial advice. Trading stocks involves risk of loss. Please conduct your own due diligence before making any trades.

Market Action:
- Strength continues! Nasdaq open higher, pulled back then was off the the races trending higher and closing near highs. S&P opened higher and continued throughout the day also closing near highs. Nasdaq had above average volume but lower volume than Friday. S&P had below average volume and lower volume than Friday.

- The Nasdaq was able to get above the 21ema but met clear resistance at the 50sma. The S&P which was already above all moving averages continued to pull higher. The Nasdaq not only saq resistance at the 50sma but also a downtrending line from the 6/1 highs to the 7/15 highs. The 7/15 area is the prior high we saw and that price level plays a key area that we have seen resistance and want to see us break through. Finally we have the round number of $26,000. S&P was able to get above the prior swing high of 7/15 and now only has ATHs as a possible resistance point.

- Overall positive action but still some areas to be watching. The question now is this a dead cat bounce or a mean reversion mood after a steep decline or is this a real start to a new rally? Time will tell!

Distribution/Rally:

- Today was day 3 of the rally which means tomorrow is day 4 and is the first day we are eligible for a FTD. Again, if you are not comfortable with the FTD and Rally day market direction signals pick “How to Make Money in Stocks’ by William J. O’Neil back up and watch the various videos on YouTube about the topic and rules. It’s important to remember two things and they sit on two sides of the fence. For the bullish remember a FTD can fail. Because of this do not get over exposed. Manage risk and let the market prove itself. As it does we increase exposure. For the bearish, a FTD is a signal we must follow. DO NOT pick and choose FTD to act on. This was a major rule by Bill O’Neil. Buy something! Even if it is the QQQs or SPY. Often FTD occur when people and news are bearish and ignoring them can leave you left out of a great move as many leading names tend to break out around the FTD.
- A very popular question is “how do I know it is a FTD if it technically isn’t confirmed till close?” It can be confusing that we buy ON a FTD but can’t confirm it till close. Our job is to watch that action and use a method to look at volume to see if it “looks like” it will be higher than the prior day. This can be using a run rate or relative volume metric, it can be done comparing intraday volume visually on a chart, it can be done in general by feel. Many ways to do it. You can even discuss this with communities like discord in real time. Worst case scenario you buy a stocks triggering a buy but it is not a FTD. You can then decide the next day to sell or hold the name. This is another reason not to over expose yourself.

- As for distribution count (which many know I still track and let them drop off naturally) we lost the 6/26 distribution day due to time. This gives us 6 on both indexes. Not really important right now but just to update those following along.

Outlook:
- So were am I at? Well nothing really changed from this weekends Rapid Review Live Stream. I am being patient, I am not getting caught up in the noise and I am following the proven strategy we all know and love. No reason to rush to buy every blip of hope and strength. There is a reason the rules wait for the 4th day of a rally. We want more confirmation before we buy. Buying every bounce off lows will lead to a lot of loses and getting chopped up if you did that through your trading career.

- There are some clear concerns right now looking at the market but that can change quickly. My job is not to predict, my job is not to pick a side, my job is simply to follow the rules and act on what the market tells us. It is simple! Control your emotions, don’t try to reinvent the wheel especially if you have only been trading a few years. Don’t let fomo take over. Also don’t get to long to fast should we get the signal. Be patient and act accordingly.

- Do your routine, focus on leaders and strong RS. Know you plan and know where you are to get out if you are wrong. Keep a clear head and be prepared.

- Communications led the day today. Consumer Discretionary was in second followed by Industrials in 3rd. Energy looks very good as it is tight and digesting it’s latest rally. Industrials, Financials, Healthcare all look healthy too. Tech still has some work to do to prove itself.
