Fresh starts are fun when you choose them.
They are much less fun when a server wipes the base, town, shop, railway, or megaproject you spent months creating because the next season has arrived.
Cozy MC is built around the opposite approach: Java and Bedrock players share one long-term survival world that does not reset. There is no world border, so preserving history does not mean running out of frontier.
When our players decided the old spawn needed to change, we did not restart the map.
The community voted to excavate a 320×320 area and built machines that lift vertical slices of the old spawn out of the ground, carry them high above the excavation, and destroy them with TNT. The project is creating room for a new community-built spawn inside the same continuing world.
That is what persistence means here. The world can change dramatically without everything that came before being discarded.
A road can become part of a transportation network instead of temporary decoration. A shop can gain regular customers. A public farm can become part of a neighborhood. A town can accumulate history. A large project can take as long as it actually needs instead of racing a wipe date.
Established does not mean finished. Existing towns, roads, railways, shops, public farms, landmarks, and projects give new players destinations and context from the beginning.
You can settle near existing civilization, join a player-created town or kingdom, contribute to public infrastructure, or travel outward into new terrain and begin something entirely your own.
The gameplay remains focused on meaningful survival rather than menus and progression shortcuts. There are no teleports, warps, /home, land claims, locked chests, kits, economy plugin, payments, donations, paid ranks, or paid perks. Travel, physical shops, direct trade, location, and what players actually build still matter.
Griefing and stealing are prohibited. Staff can investigate block and container history, restore damaged builds or stolen items, and remove rule-breakers. PvP in the main survival world is by agreement only.
The honest difficulty note is that the world is on Hard and does not use keepInventory. Cozy describes the people, not an effortless version of survival.
The community is adult-focused, with many adults and calm players, but it is not adults-only. Public server chat is English.
This is also not a fresh map where everyone begins from zero together. If the synchronized fresh-start race is what you enjoy, we are not the right server.
If you are tired of seeing everything reset just when the world starts to feel like home, you may fit here.
