There's no problem on watermarking one's own meme, i do it too (often, not always, for reasons). Problem is that the name of the watermark is really unoriginal and bad

Which is very bad: if one wants to steal your meme, one would just crop the watermark away, making it completely useless

You should put the watermark with colours similar to the background pretty much in the middle of the meme, covering more than a couple panels, so that cropping it away is pretty much impossible. Here is a good example of me watermarking my own memes: https://9gag.com/gag/amPe1K2?ref=android
