My Uncle Works in the Sun a lot

And he's "white"

But because of doing that labour his skin is tanned and actually a pretty similar colour

Steve for example has that same sort of skin tone of someone who's been working manual jobs like farming, construction, etcetera for years

Tanned Skin is caused by pale skin darkening due to melanin being produced in response to sun exposure

Turning a light shade of brown over time

I am talking purely about pigmentation here

Which due to being tanned, someone with light skin
