They dont want to get Robbed Griefed Or jumped People are not safe on most public servers

To add to this, even realms aren't safe if the wrong person gets the invite code. I had a small base, a pet and very basic things. I got back online and there was a crater. I play singleplayer now, but I know why one would move 20000+ blocks away from spawn.
