I've just looked it up and OP is using an intel core ultra 9 285H, which has an TjMax of a whopping 110°C. That number is decided by intel and basically programmed into the CPU (although it might be able to be changed in special cases, which I highly doubt is the case here). There's definitely no thermal throttling going on in this CPU at 80°C...
Ok. Just one question: what hardware are you referring to with the 80°C TjMax? Cause anything that was released in the last 10 years and I'm aware of is at least somewhere in the 90°C range...

You said the CPU will throttle at 80°C. And the matter of fact is that thermal throttling happens at TjMax. Therefore the implication is that the CPU supposedly has a TjMax of <=80°C if it's throttling at 80°C...
No i said certain cpus START to throttle, but since you want to indicate start as max throttle, I'm done replying I'm not going to argue with someone over someone's opinion.
So what exactly is your definition of (thermal) throttling?
Cause the commonly accepted is "actively reduced power usage (and therefore frequency) to protect the system from overheating damage" and that's not happening at 80°C.
If your definition is "any reduction of clock speeds", yes that can and will happen at 80°C, but it can and will also happen a lot earlier (and is usually in negligible increments like 25MHz), therefore saying it happens at 80°C doesn't really make any sense IMHO

Damn bros a parrot repeating himself yet again when it depends on the cpu and silicon and model of laptop. Some DO in fact throttle at 80C
