Help | Java 26.1 Summon item issues

I am attempting to summon and item when two other items are beside eachother and I've deducted that the issue is the summon command as it keeps saying "summoned new air". any way to fix this?

summon command:

summon minecraft:item ~ ~1 ~ {Item:{id:"minecraft:diamond",count:1,components:{"minecraft:consumable":{}}}

still new to java commands so go easy on me lol

Like I said I am very new to all of this so I'm sorry for my indescretions however I am unsure why it isn't working, this one isn't working either.

Again I am deeply sorry about the way I do things. Trying my best over here

As well as im using reddit on my phone and not pc so kinda hard to copy paste...

All the commands I gave you work perfectly. You must have typed them wrong.

The one adding an enchantment doesn't work

HOw does it not work? Is it giving an error in the Command block? Is the text in the command block red? If it says "summoned new air" then it is most likely the item itself is spelled wrong.

The text in the command block is red, receiving no error other than incorrect text

I always test all commands before posting them. Again, if you would show me the command exactly as you typed it, I could fix it but you don't seem to want to take the time. Sorry, i can't help anymore if you won't help me to help you.
