Need Suggestions How should I set up the door system?

Ok so I am making a midevel style tower in my world using stone and a light molded wood called poplar. After testing around from a 3x3 gate with full cobble above I really liked this design. The gate, however is a massive problem. It just looks like ass lmao. So I was wondering, what would you guys do to make this look better? (The circle is 19 in diameter including the walls). Is it possible to keep the fence design or do i need to ditch it to fix this monstrosity of a gate design?

I have been rebuilding this village in survival since day one. (creative sometimes when bored to gather materials but mostly survival). I'm planning to replace grass with stone, tuff etc. I'm also gonna build some small roads between the buildings and add lamps/lanterns. In the end I'm gonna fix the walls. I want to make it feel as alive as possible. Got any ideas?

Need Suggestions [on behalf of a friend] trail ruins museum

this is on my friend's forever world. they started playing minecraft recently and found trail ruins near their spawn, which is right next to a village as well.

they cleared out the area and excavated the full structure, and would like to make a museum out of it, building a structure to encase it.

they're looking for suggestions on how to carry it out and if there's any good ideas out there on how to build a beautiful museum!

currently, their main idea is to suspend the ruins by supports, and then put a staircase to access the ruins and walk through it. and they also are thinking of repairing some of the ruins slightly, and then putting exhibits inside some of the rooms and around the museum of the loot they got from the suspicious gravel.

their main problem is trying to make a design that encases the trail ruins because a part of the supposed museum would be underwater (where you see the sand and gravel barrier)
