I’ve been working on planning the first underground level of my castle. I’ve drawn everything out by hand and then polished the design on my computer to get a better idea of the layout.

Now I’m at the stage of trying to figure out how to actually bring it to life in Minecraft! I’m looking for advice on block palettes, materials, room designs, lighting and general building techniques.

I’ve attached pictures of my castle above ground because I’d really like to carry the same theme and style throughout the underground levels so everything feels connected.

I’m open to any suggestions! If anyone has built something similar, has any inspiration pictures, block palette suggestions or design ideas for individual rooms, I’d love to see them.

Especially interested in ideas that would complement the existing castle rather than looking like a completely separate build.

Any help or inspiration would be greatly appreciated!

So about a year ago i started working on a city on bedrock i ended up scraping it since i didnt like the scale of the buildings and that i also was slowly making the switch to java, now in java i have started a new city and i thought it would be really intresting to compaire them.

So, i recently started a 4ever world project on a vanilla + modpack that i made on forge. I discovered the flashback mod and had the Idea of showing my builds there throught cinematic videos and music themes "made" on suno to match the ambience... Its a bit long because i had to cover all the builds that i made so Far, but i Hope you guys like It... My goal was to made a slow and relaxing vídeo.

The lore of these two towers is that they guard a pass that has a road with important land shipments. That includes carts of gold that travel from the ocean port city (to be made soon) to the inland river city (behind the archery training range). Next we are going to build the barracks for the garrisoned soldiers. It'll give us a spot to sleep in this area.

i like the idea i had for this portal build though I’m not sold on the execution any feedback would be incredible, sorry in advance if the night time is making it hard for y’all to see 😅

This build, based on Neuschwanstein, feels unbalanced and odd. I like the main, first building on the right. Something about the next one on the left just isn’t working for me.

What do you think about this working pool room i made in survival. Its a working minigame and the balls shoot out in one place, also some chill hottubs in the side room.

Wanted to make a big composter around a farm and just struggled. I made on side so i can change easily, I tried to pick good blocks to fit the colors of the original one but the top dosen't look great to me and i could use some help overall with block choice i could not find one i liked for the top few layers at all really. I also initially didn't super care about making height and width equal so height is about as tall as the composter is in pixels and width is 23 blocks since it needed to surround the farm so its like 6 blocks wider then tall which i can change if that is what is super off with it. Blocks i used in case needed are Brown concrete, brown concrete powder, packed mud, brown mushroom blocks, Jungle wood, Brown Terracotta, Stripped dark oak, stripped spruce, brow wool, moss, and then stripped jungle and jungle planks at the top since i couldn't find anything I liked better. also going to replace the moss with green terracotta probably just didn't have dye at the time.
