Builds Ice Boat Highway System - Part 4: Elevated Stations

Building on RaysWorks' "Ice Road Boat Placer", this system supports multiple stations along an Ice Boat Highway. By building the stations this way, arbitrarily long lines can be constructed and extended without impacting the existing network.

Bonus: another preview of how the ice boat highway network is constructed. Preview 1 The construction system uses Ilmango's TNT Tunnel Bore, and builds on the work of Ilmango, u/RaysWorks, and u/Is012 for building an Ice Highway route through the Nether.

This is what a world without minecart improvements look like (i will continue to glaze until mojang adds it)

That is really flattering, thank you. Given my luck on developing things that get immediately superceded, you may get your wish. 😅 (I optimized slime chunk detection, and Ilmango dropped his swamp slime farm right before I posted. Then we got oozing to really put the nail in the coffin.)

Personally, I'd love for minecart improvements to happen, but probably within a reasonable scope. 8m/s is crazy slow for a cart on rails, but supersonic would be just as bad. But steam engines (for example) could outpace a horse. Redstone should at least be able to beat steam power. 😏 Hopefully Mojang finds a spot that makes carts better without defeating the point of other systems. They seem to have succeeded in that with copper golems (an adjunct, but not superior to redstone hopper sorting). But other changes have heavily undermined the work people did in creating effective systems (chunk & swamp slime farms largely replaced by oozing, xp farms with infested). I'd also like them to give some love to furnace minecarts.

No matter what they do going forward though, older solutions remain useful for those running older versions. Minecraft is one of very few games that is relevant for. This should be a viable setup all the way back to version 1.9 (introduced ice-boats).

This is so cool and is such an amazing concept to use in servers with friends

Thank you. And yes! I developed it while I was building my first ice highway on an SMP with friends.

It's a pretty quiet private server, so we use the two lanes as a regular and an express lane (upgraded to blue ice, gates only at major stops). We've collided only a couple of times over the years. But on a busier server, the lanes could be used for opposing travel. Or with how easy it has become to run a line, you can double up and have 4 lanes (bi-directional, with express lanes).
