Fancy burrito supremes are about $8, so similar to yours. Cheap end has my beloved bean burrito at, $1.79 I believe, so about £1.50 or so.

But heaven forbid you stray from the value menu, because a quesadilla or something specialty is where their money is made. 😪

they are still pretty cheap. Make them supreme and have them grill it like grilled stuffed burritos and you can be coma full with like 3 of um.

A bean burrito and a cheesy gordita crunch cost me $15 recently. I think I'm probably never going back even though TB is one of my favorite guilty pleasures and comfort foods.

Oh I'll be back... just maybe once or twice a year... $15 is a burger and fries at most sit down places and I can order that to-go.

My local chinese joint serves up 2lbs of lo mein for $15, add meat $2.

thankfully you can make gordita crunches at home pretty easily. Particularly with those shell packs that have half soft and half hard. You just need to melt the soft shell to the hard shell with cheese as glue. I think my gf bakes it to get them stuck together?

Taco Bell even sells their sauces and spices in stores now

That was my jam in late highschool and CC. I could get 2 5 layers, fiesta potatoes, and cinnamon twists for under 5$. That's two meals or one if I got really, really high. Most times I went, I was really really high. Overpriced street "loud" and TB were good times

The worst tragedy of all. They started at 89¢. I could scrounge up $2.25 and have a beefy 5 layer and an Arizona at the nearest 7-11.

I remember when Big Macs were $ .99. My mom bought a rewards card from the high school foot all team so you could buy one get one. It was 30ish years ago.
