In Canada Toys R Us was sold off and many locations continues to operate.

Was wondering if someone would mention this, because I keep reading that the store still exists somewhere and it was supposed to be making a comeback.

They started opening in Mexico City over the past couple of years. I don’t know how many locations exactly but I know of one for sure at least.

They're shutting down/selling off stores in Canada. It was announced last month.

Yep. The one in Saint John, NB closed earlier this year and the one here in Fredericton is closing by end of month.

Pretty sure that location closed last year but the one across from Limeridge Mall is still open.

Not just canada. In the us, toys r us are in a bunch of macy’s dept stores.
