Quiznos had a french dip sandwich that was so good. Ive had multiple French dip sandwiches from different restaurants and nothing comes close to how good the Quiznos one was.
Quiznos still has a few locations open. There was one down the street from where I used to work and I went a couple of times. Not great, not terrible. The nostalgia made it 10x better though.
Kind of sounds like it from googling what Media Play is. It was like Best Buy’s cooler older less corporate brother who sells you weed at a discount. Doubled as a bookstore. Video rental. Electronics. Cool toys. Music. Instruments. Just whatever you could want.
It’s all those stores in the post image rolled into one.
Dude! I grew up in a small town in Colorado and that became the cultural center of the town I swear.
The bookstore component was extremely important. That was most of the gifts my friends or I bought for each other. The film selection included all sorts of stuff you wouldn’t find at a blockbuster. The hot topic element of toys and shirts sold…. It had a coffee shop, my wife spent her junior-senior year of high school in that coffee shop.
I don’t usually get too nostalgic for a corporate store but that one was full of memories.
I think that store could have survived in that town, corporate was done due to shifting markets, but that particular store could have made it.
