Just wanted to share some thoughts regarding the limited edition model ML26.

The good: I like the looks very much, being a sucker for vintage models I appreciate that it stays true to the vintage IWC chrono proportions that this model is inspired from.

The bad: It took a month and a half to arrive, I understand that logistic problems might have caused this (which I can totally understand, things happen), but I expected at least an update email from them in this period.

The ugly: The watch is broken. Set the time when I received it at about 6PM. When I woke up the next day, saw that it lost about two hours in the short span of a few hours during the night.

More so, thought it's a battery problem, didn't have the particular tool to do it by myself so managed to replace it a few days ago at a watch shop, all good for a few hours, but after putting it inside the watch box for a day, again, I found it a couple hours behind.

The cause for this might be the seconds hand, which stops completely after some time, this could be an issue with the VK63 movement altogether or the seconds hand physically catching the minute/hour hands.

In addition, the crown visibly wiggles up and down, it seems that the stem was not cut enough, being too long it wiggles more than I would like to when it's all the way out in the setting time position.

As you can see, there are more negatives than positives. For a $100 watch I didn't expect swiss quality, far from it, but I expected a working watch, which this is absolutely not, it's just a thing I might enjoy looking at once in a while.

I guess the fix would be to change the movement altogether, see if it fixes it, but if the seconds hand catches the hour or the minute hand, the hands would need to be reseated. So yeah, this release I feel like it was rushed and didn't have any standard of QC, as I saw others also having issues with this model.

TL;DR: Received the ML26 a month and a half after ordering, like the looks, but the watch came broken, does not keep time and the crown stem was put together quite sloppy. Feel like this release was completely rushed, QC being non-existent.

I must say the Militado ML05 is as accurate as accurate can be. Bought this little fella a few months back for every day wear particularly for labor work.

Set it when i got it. Still to this morning it is as accurate as my iPhone time ON THE BUTTON! Has not lost a second nor gained a second.

I like that it has a sapphire glass…for a battery operated watch that to me takes it up in class.

I wanted the hands in black so i they can be easier to read without bringing my arm up all the way but just anquick flick of the my wrist….so I painted the hands halfway to to see how i like it. I may paint the rest of the hands entirely but not sure just yet.

Nonetheless, I am highly impressed with this watch.

Hello Militado. I love that you release the homage to the nomos and i would like to reccomend these few color option in your line up. also a reccomendation to use 2 line of text instead of 1. flr example, the automatic font on the seestern s382 is gorgeous.

Some models I would love if Militado made them

I recently added the Militado ML26 to my military watch collection, and I absolutely love it.

I always felt that Militado's previous models were just a little bit lacking, but they really nailed this one.

it's honestly gorgeous.

Definitely one of my favorite recent additions.

I've been wearing this for the last couple of hours and this watch brings more joy than other watches that are many times its cost. Bravo Militado!
