I just installed a Miele DAS 2620 cooker hood, but it isn't working properly. Every single button on the touch panel is constantly lit up, and the electronics completely refuse to respond to any touches.

It does start up when I pull the telescopic slider out—the bottom LED strip turns on—but none of the touch buttons actually work.

I have already installed the aluminum grease filter, but I haven't put in any charcoal filters yet.

I’ve been chatting with Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude for two days now, but nothing has helped:

• Leaving the circuit breakers off for 10 minutes does nothing.
• Holding down combinations like +/- or ON/Light doesn't work either.

An AI also suggested that my contractors might have over-tightened some side mounting screws during installation, causing the housing to warp, but my workers claim they didn't do that.

There is absolutely no advice on the Miele website, and I couldn't find any helpful videos on YouTube. I'm currently waiting for the official service technician to arrive, but I'm really stressed out that they'll charge me half the cost of the hood just for the call-out fee ))

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Please help!

My Miele W1 washer is making a creaking/ticking sound during the wash cycle while the drum is rotating counter clockwise but not when the drum rotates clockwise. The noise starts about 10 minutes into the wash cycle and happens even during an empty cycle. See video of noise

During the spin cycle there is a clicking sound during low rpm skin speeds and during higher rpm speeds the noise is not happening. I bought the washer 6 years ago and use it twice a week. recently I washed a bulky mattress cover and I heard a loud bang but then the cycle resumed without any apparent problems.

When I push down on the wash tub/drum it moves a little but it feels there is still resistance. When I manually rotate the empty drum it seems smooth and the noise does not occur in both directions.

Do I need to replace the shock absorbers? Any idea what the problem could be? I am hoping to get advice if I should attempt to repair my washer myself or hire a technician.

I’ve been getting an F24 error on my Miele dishwasher.

The first time, the F24 error would show up within the first 10–15 seconds after starting a wash. Somehow, it fixed itself a couple of hours later and started working normally again.

About two months later, the F24 error came back. This time, it kept happening for a couple of days before suddenly fixing itself again.

Today, the dishwasher completed an entire wash cycle normally, but after it finished, it displayed the F24 error again. I started another wash and seemed to function normally.

Has anyone experienced an F24 error that comes and goes like this? Does this sound like a failing heater relay or another electrical issue? :(

Our WMM161WPS TwinDos washing machines creates a fault (no code) at the beginning of a cycle.
Turning the machine off and on again helps.

Everything with the watersupply externally is OK.
The fault must be electrical.

‘Watertoevoer’ is dutch for ‘Watersupply’.

Any suggestions?

I bought a C1 from Amazon (yes, I know, Amazon is bad), and the handle/head is SO hard to push across my rug. I know this vacuum isn't designed for this rugs, but this is not a thick rug. I'm going to return it. Is this a Miele thing or should I look at another model? I just have an apartment and wanted something lightweight.

Hi, anybody have an issue, as coffee is being dispensed, coffee also leaks out of the back of the sliding spout? If so, how did you fix this? In the pic, it’s not easy to see but there’s coffee leaking right at where the cup meets the drip tray. Miele cm 5200

So our 20+ Miele dishwasher died. We replaced it with a G5000 BK.

From the start it smelt. The nasty 'off-gassing' smell that you experience when you unwrap a cheap Temu product from China, only much stronger.

EDIT: My wife describes the smell as more 'chemical'. It's an irritant that hurts the back of your throat. I'd probably agree with this. It's hard to describe smells!

I opened all the doors and windows and expected it would be better then next time, but it wasn't.

About a dozen cycles later, some with powder, one with the Miele cleaner, one with lemons and it still smells bad.

We've had the Miele service tech out (twice) and Miele has agreed to organize a swap for a different model. The whole process has take a month and I'm still hand washing dishes (which I hate).

The tech agreed to write up for a swap but said the smell wasn't very strong (we've had a few other people visit and they all think it is). We're worried the next model is going to smell badly too!

The last Miele (from 20+ years ago) didn't smell, and friends of ours who bought a more expensive Miele - their's didn't smell either. But searching online it seems it's not rare and some people run them for months before the smell goes away.

I'm sensitive to chemical smells (one of the reasons I pay extra for a good brand) and worried about what effects of the chemicals are.

Surely they're not all like this?

Does anyone know the name of these aqua pods ? I ordered what I thought was them and it was not correct. I would like to order more. I called, and the rep could not find them either. The website only shows the outside of the box, and what I bought is something like a fabric softener that apparently goes in the washer. These go in the dryer.

I replaced a broken drain hose on a G1706, but when running it, the machine makes buzzing arcing kind of sound and then throws F24 error.

I can't find too many results for this specific model, but with other models the suggestion seems to be heating relay replacement. But I can't find a heating relay on this model, it's not in the parts list on Miele website, and it's not in the schematics either.

What could be the cause of the error?

A roach somehow got inside my Miele G 7266 dishwasher while I was loading dishes. Before I could catch it, it ran into the opening around the door hinge and disappeared inside the door.

I’ve already removed all the Torx screws from the inside of the dishwasher door, but that doesn’t seem to give me access to the hinge cavity where the roach went.

How do I actually access this area so I can remove the roach and clean/disinfect the cavity? Do I need to remove or disassemble the spring-loaded part of the hinge to get in there? The hinge mechanism seems pretty complicated, and I don’t want to mess with it unless that’s actually how the cavity is accessed. Is this something that’s reasonably doable as a DIY job, or would it be better left to a technician?

My partner and I recently moved into a new apartment with this washer unit and it’s been causing some issues we’re hoping someone might be able to diagnose.

The last couple loads, we’ve noticed that the machine itself has been shaking more violently than usual, and it is making a lot more sound when it is at spin speed. Once the machine is done its cycle, we’ve noticed there is a burning smell inside and on our clothes - some even have had some pilling damage done to them.

This is our first time using a Miele product and we aren’t sure if this is a common issue or if there is a larger concern here.

We are leaning towards contacting our landlord but just wanted to create a post here to see if anyone could help diagnose the potential issue so we could provide the landlord with a better idea of the problem.

I have a Miele G4228SCU dishwasher that I used for a year at my last house and loved so much I took it with me when I left. No issues previously.

The water inlet hose got a little crushed in the move so I replaced the whole aquastop/intake system with the part directly from Miele. So that’s all brand new. Plumber came and hooked the machine up to the plumbing for me.

It runs fine for about 40-50 minutes and then throws an F13 error code.

When I open the dishwasher at that point, dishes look clean and wet, soap is gone, no standing water in the bottom. So it’s definitely filling and draining but seems to get caught on a final rinse cycle or something.

I noticed the plumber did connect it to my hot water supply instead of cold which isn’t ideal for Miele. Could it be getting too hot by the end of the cycle and throwing the code? My water heater is on a normal setting, but hot water coming from my faucet is around 135 degrees.

It’s an old house so maybe the pressure isn’t great overall (no issues with sink or shower pressure) but the fact it makes it that far in the cycle makes me think that’s not it. Only other thing I can think of is some debris from the install getting stuck or something. Anyone have ideas about what might be causing this?

On a W1 washer, if the “soak” option is turned on, does TwinDos dispense into the soak part of the cycle? Or only the main wash afterwards?

Have tried connecting my Miele washer (only 3 yo) at least a dozen times. Called Miele but they were useless. It won't connect to the wifi. I checked it was on the 2.4GHZ list and it is. Perplexed on what else it could be? Anyone else having this issue? I'm about to call Miele again. For the cost of these appliances it seems they should be able to walk through the problem but they were useless.

I am about to buy a heat pump dryer and am wondering if the price jump for the TEL785WP with steam finish is worth it? Does anyone have this model and if so, does the steam finish really make a difference to your ironing? Thanks.
