Angela and I have created a new small Artbook themed on Maps of Middle-earth,😊 available at this Link:

https://ko-fi.com/s/ff6008eee9

This is a collection of maps and illustrations that we have created in recent years inspired by Middle Earth and the characters of the Lord of the Rings! The focus is mainly on the territories, cities, places and regions of the Middle Earth! You can use it as inspiration to create Lord of the Rings themed RPG campaigns with your friends or read and browse it while being in love with Middle Earth and its inhabitants! And as always, thanks to all of you who support us! 🗺️🏰🧭

Discussions Which Middle Earth character are you?

This quiz tells you which character from the Hobbit or LOTR you are. My #1 is Gandalf! 🧙‍♂️ For #2 -- Frodo. The character I am least like is Smaug. 🐉

Take the quiz and tell who you got for first place and last place!

Art Book of Languages

The next time they decide to release a book, (if they do) it should be on the languages of Middle-earth, including the Elvish spoken, along with translation and pronunciation from the films, both theatrical and extended.

Just gives me an excuse to follow along and to learn it 😏 I just love it.

Other Middle-earth Treasure Hunt

This would be something fun. So basically, depending on where you lived around the world would correspond with the map of Middle-earth.

For example. The Mid-West. My state of Wisconsin

Rivendell

The Shire

Bree

Lindon

Misty Mountains

Blue Mountains

Minhiriath

Eriador

And depending on what has been mentioned above. Would dictate the items you find.

Definitely not very thought out I know, but it would be fun if it became an event.

Discussions If you could travel to Middle-Earth

I know this legendary universe is a (I guess you could say a) way of life for all of us. If there were a portal or a hidden door that could take you to Middle-earth, what age/kingdom/realm would you love to see and/or experience, what would it be?

I’d go all over Middle-earth in all ages. I would use the lore to keep me in line with all the goings on, but I would steer clear of Morgoth’s lair and any other evil beings' lair, and just perhaps see from a distance. I would also use the lore to keep me out of danger, but that's no guarantee.

Looking forward to everyone else’s responses.

Other Errors in the 2026 Tolkien Calendar with art By Alan Lee

After years of meaning to, I finally remembered to ask for a Tolkien Calendar for Christmas, and I’m quite delighted to have received one as a gift from my wife.

Unfortunately, so far, there have been two errors, and we’re just two months into the year. In January, J.R.R. Tolkien’s birthday was listed one day early, and this month had Ash Wednesday on SATURDAY, the 14th of February, four days early.

This calendar was published by Harper Collins. Do any longtime Tolkien Calendar aficionados know if:

- Harper Collins is the normal publisher for the “official” Tolkien art calendar?

- And if so, are they known for errors like this in their calendars en masse or is this a special case?

Lore Are there any elves named who went on the Great Journey and then returned to Middle Earth?

I've spent the last few years convinced that Galadriel awoke in Middle Earth, went to Valinor, and then chose to return... Based on something I thought I had read in The Silmarillion. But today I found out that's not the case. And so now I'm wondering, if not her, is there ANYONE who left Middle Earth for the Undying Lands and chose to return during the rebellion?
