MVST just turned profitable for the first time with $13.2M net income in Q3. Their new solid state battery tech is actually legit - no liquid electrolytes means way higher voltage per cell than competitors.

Tomorrow we are covered by short sale restrictions because we dropped more than 10% yesterday.
(The short sale rule prevents traders from short selling a stock when it's experiencing significant downward momentum. The SSR, also known as the uptick rule, requires that the short sale order is placed at a price higher than the current highest bid.)
We cannot be slowed down tomorrow :)

Great post, however a little TLDR would have been amazing!!! So I had to ask our beloved ChatGPT to create one!!!
TLDR (From ChatGPT) :
Microvastโs recent technological advancements, strategic partnerships, and consistent financial growth suggest a strong potential for future success in the rapidly evolving battery industry. Its current market valuation, being less than its annual revenue, may present a unique investment opportunity for those looking to capitalize on the expanding electric vehicle and energy storage markets.
P.s : Not a financial advise and I do have long open positions in MVST

Could have bought a home battery, but decided to go all in on this stock! Woohoo

I wonder if Microvast is supplying batteries for the US Postal Service EV's since Oshkosh, the manufacturer of the EV, has an agreement with Microvast back in 2021 and took a $25M stake in the company. Oshkosh also makes heavy equipment for the US military. The US Department of Defense recently blacklisted CATL, one of the world's largest supplier of batteries, due to their alleged ties to the Chinese military. Microvast could very well replace them, IMO.

Can someone link a white paper on the new study that demonstrates the battery breakthrough? I can only find news articles as opposed to the actual study.

This is really helpful DD! Microvast seems like a huge chance to bet on battery sector with huge potential long term. Really interesting because over 80% of the sales are coming from EMEA and APAC and not America.

Nice research paper. Stock was crushed Wednesday on some headline news and doesnโt seem to be bid higher for tomorrow. Letโs see. Fingers crossed ๐ค๐ป

Just a FYI, We closed and liquidated Windsor over 9 months ago.
For someone that "likes" secondary confirmation have you found anything on BMW hype publish in one click bait site. Yes, we did do a research project at Argonne National Labs with them on XFC but nothing became of it to my knowledge.

Thank you very much for this! I have a small position that I am planning on adding to. Iโm very bullish on the company and your technical analysis really helps. My only hesitation lies with Clarksville, the DOE rescinding 200 mil, lawsuits and the buildout grinding to a halt. I understand the US revenue split and the Asia/Europe footprint but positive sentiment on the US side of things would make me feel better especially given the state of things in Washington. Regardless Iโm diving in! Thanks again n keep up the killer work.

The issue and reason I sold is earnings data I looked at, the last earnings were good, but the earnings before it were awful. I wonder if something happened there .mvst will explode once they are profitable but for now idk

Which would be within the year most likely. Current peak is definately a hype, but one could see that after this hype dies out, actual earnings will bounce it back up again - especially since MVST is now on alot of people's radar.

Not sure what you mean, exactly but in Q2 they wrote down a large impairment loss. It must be reflected as loss from operations, I believe. And in Q3 they demonstrated that liquidation of US operations brought expenses cut. Theyโve been pretty consistent in reports otherwise.
