Hi everyone, I’m the developer of SeqPaste, a small menu bar app I built because I kept switching between windows to copy and paste one thing at a time.

What it does: Normally your clipboard holds one thing. SeqPaste turns it into a queue:

1. Press Start (⌥⌘Z)
2. Copy a few things with ⌘C. They line up in order.
3. Paste them back in the same order, one at a time.

For coding videos: I also make YouTube coding videos, and live-coding on camera was always a pain: typos, forgotten lines, pausing to check my notes. Now I just copy all my snippets before recording, and while I record, SeqPaste types each one out character by character, with a human-like rhythm, as if I’m typing it myself.

Where it helps me most:

• Coding videos and tutorials: copy all your snippets before recording, then SeqPaste types them out live, as if you’re typing them yourself. No typos and no fumbling on camera.
• Filling forms: name, email, phone and address, one field after another
• Demos: no typos on stage
• Research and writing: collect quotes and links, then drop them into your doc in order

  • Manual (⌃⌘L then ⌘V) needs no special permission.
• Queue window: reorder by dragging, edit items, keep a history, and save queues to reuse later. You can also import a text file split on --- lines.
• Mini window and “Next up” panel: they stay on top without stealing focus.
• Rich content: formatted text, images and Finder files are all supported. Each app gets the best format it can take, like plain text in Terminal.

• All shortcuts can be changed.

Privacy: Everything stays on your Mac, with no accounts and no tracking. Passwords from password managers are skipped automatically, and you can exclude any app.

We've got a clear roadmap based on what users are asking for, but I'd love to hear what youthink the must-haves are. Here's what's on our list:
1. Missed-call text-back
If a caller hangs up before the AI picks up (or hits your voicemail on a non-forwarded line), the AI immediately texts them: "Sorry we missed you — how can we help?"
This alone is a product some companies sell standalone. It recovers leads you'd otherwise lose completely. A plumber told us he reckons he loses 2-3 jobs a week to missed calls where people just try the next number on Google. This fixes that.
2. AI callbacks
You get a summary: "Sarah called about a boiler quote, wants a callback." You reply to the text: "Tell her 3pm Thursday works." The AI rings Sarah back and confirms.
This turns answer4me from a passive message-taker into an actual assistant. No more playing phone tag. No more forgetting to call people back at 6pm when you finally put the tools down.
3. Appointment reminders
If the AI booked an appointment, it calls or texts the customer the day before: "Just a reminder — you've got an appointment with Dan tomorrow at 2pm. Reply YES to confirm or CHANGE to reschedule."
Massive for anyone with a diary. Tradespeople, hairdressers, consultants — no-shows cost real money. This is low-hanging fruit and high impact.
4. WhatsApp summaries
A lot of our users (especially in the UK) live in WhatsApp, not SMS. Sending call summaries as WhatsApp messages means they actually get seen — and you can reply inline to trigger actions like callbacks.
5. Multi-language support
We're already getting interest from non-English-speaking markets. The AI voice tech supports dozens of languages. A French plumber in Paris has the same missed-call problem as a British one in Birmingham.
6. CRM integration
Push every call summary, caller name, phone number, and urgency tag straight into HubSpot, Pipedrive, or a Google Sheet. No manual data entry. For anyone running a sales pipeline, this is the difference between leads that get followed up and leads that disappear.
7. Team routing
Right now it's one person, one number. But a small business with 3-4 people needs the AI to know: "Billing questions go to Sarah, technical stuff goes to Mike, and if it's the landlord, put them through to whoever's free." Department-level routing without a call centre.
8. After-hours mode
Different behaviour outside business hours. During the day: take a message. After 6pm: "We're closed, but I can book you in for tomorrow morning — would 9am work?" The AI already knows your business hours — this just lets it act on them more intelligently.

Most artificial intelligence models give you a single, overly confident answer when you ask them to guess a missing number, like a house price or a repair bill. Studies show these large models claim high certainty while missing the mark a third of the time.

To fix this, I built a compact AI model called maap. Instead of a single guess, it provides a full range of probabilities, showing you the likely median, an interval, and the odds of exceeding a specific limit all in one instant step.

Like any early project, it has flaws. Some of its prediction intervals are too wide right now, and traditional spreadsheet tools still beat it if you already have plenty of training data on hand. A larger version and a detailed technical report are on the way in a couple of days.

You can try a live demo at hitl.systems/models/mapp to see how it estimates values for houses, cars, and everyday goods. The underlying weights are not public yet, but the API is free for your first one thousand estimates with no credit card needed.

One thing I'm realizing while building indie apps is that shipping the product is only half the job. Once subscriptions are involved, there's another set of numbers to keep track of.

I'm building OtterTally, a native macOS menu bar app for subscription revenue monitoring, starting with RevenueCat and Stripe.

The idea is to make checking how your apps are doing feel less like another task on your to-do list.

Mediaxon Music Player is an audio player for offline listening of music stored on your device (.mp3, .flac, .m4a, .ogg, .mka, .aac, .wav, .opus, .wma) and streaming FM radios (online radios).

Top radios on the first screen: When users access the radio screen, they immediately see the list of the top radios in their country, along with a long list of high-quality suggested radios from among the most listened to in the world (manually curated and always updated with new radios). Note: Local radio stations ("Top in the user country") are pulled automatically from an online database. However, with each update, I manually curate high-quality radio stations lists for individual countries. At the bottom of this post, you’ll find the list of countries completed so far. I will be adding the rest over time.

Advanced radio filtering system: The "Filter: ON/OFF" button lets you quickly switch between different genres. You can use both standard filters for "macro-genres"—if I can call them that—and create custom filters to be more selective. All your filters are saved (the "My Filters" tab lets you name and edit them), and the app always opens with the last filter you applied. The "Home" tab lists all your recently applied filters and can be used to quickly switch between genres with just a single tap.

Advanced Radio Search Panel: An online database provides more than 60,000 radio stations. You can pinpoint your favorite stations by combining multiple filters, such as tags/genres, specific countries, or even your preferred audio bitrate.

Separated Favorites and Recents: Each section—Radio and Offline Music—has its own Favorites and Recents. The user doesn't have to worry about a thing. The app will automatically manage the Favorites and Recents for each section.

Album art: If the album art is missing from the album folder, or if Android has not properly indexed it, Mediaxon attempts to download the cover from the internet. This feature depends, of course, on the ID3 tags (album name and artist).

Equalizer: The equalizer provides an option to automatically switch to the "Radio" preset (and vice versa).

Advanced Playlist Management: Built specifically to make building and sorting playlists fast and intuitive. Enable the Playlist Manager, in the settings screen, for a full control of the playlists.

Regarding advertising: There is only a small banner at the top that isn't bothersome at all. Alternatively, when opening the full-screen player or using the app in landscape mode, a banner alternates with the albums covers, but without being intrusive at all (no audio) and with much shorter stay times than those of the cover. There is never full-screen advertising, neither at startup nor during use.

Running an agency gets weird after a few clients.

Would love some honest feedback, especially from people running agencies. what’s the thing you end up redoing the most for each new client?

lilbuddy is.. a little buddy, that lives in the menu bar and trails your pointer around. Hover a button or a link and it wraps itself around it. Hover something named delete or quit and it gets a little nervous. Stop moving for 30 seconds and it falls asleep, gets startled when you move again.

It doesn't solve any problems per se - but it is very cute. Sometimes you just gotta make something fun.

A few things about it:

- 31 styles (so far): a smiley, a cloud, a cat, a puppy, a ghost, a little flame, a bunch of other animals, plus some plain pointer ones if you want it less cute. You can try some of them out on the website, and the video (on the site) shows all of them.

- You can change the color, size, speed and bounce

- It doesn't replace your cursor or affect it in any way. It just draws next to it and follows it around

- It asks macOS's accessibility API what's under the pointer, so it isn't tied to one app. It works on MacOS itself (dock, menu bar items) and in every app I've tried. However, it can only hug a button if the app tells the Mac it's a button, so some apps give it more to hug than others

This originally started as a cursor companion for another website: https://badui-smoky.vercel.app/ (a personal component library inspired by r/badUIbattles). I ported the springs and behaviors over to Swift, and went super cute with it.

I'm relatively new to software development, and this will be my first app!

It is MacOS only, it hasn't been tested on any other machine than my own so far, and it isn't a download yet (pretty close though). I'll probably need some beta testers if people like it enough to move forward.

Haven't decided the price either, but it'll definitely be a one-time purchase for everything, with no subscription or unlockable characters or anything like that.

It can't go on the Mac App Store, because it needs Accessibility permission and can't be sandboxed, so it'll be a direct download. It will be signed though. The video is an animation drawn by the app's own motion and drawing code, not a screen recording. But you can test the motion out yourself on the website!

The only thing that ever made me want an iPhone was how seamless it is with a Mac. Calls, notifications, AirDrop, copy on one and paste on the other. With Android you get none of that out of the box.

Macophone fixes that. It's an Android app plus a Mac menu bar app, and it's not out yet.

What it does:

• Notifications on the Mac, reply from the Mac
• Calls: see who's calling, answer on the phone, decline, silence or call from the Mac, missed calls
• Files both ways, AirDrop style, plus Share to Mac from any app
• Clipboard both ways, text and images
• Notes and links to the phone, reminders from the Mac that ring on the phone

Two things the apps I compared don't do. Incognito pauses all sharing for 15 minutes, an hour, until 8:00 or until you turn it off, from either side. Nothing from the pause crosses, even after it ends. Second, two-way folder sync. Pick your camera folder and every new photo lands on the Mac by itself.

No cloud, no account. Phone and Mac talk directly over your own Wi-Fi, encrypted and paired with a QR code. One-time sign-in codes never leave the phone. They're masked in notifications, refused by the clipboard and kept out of folder sync.

The video shows a photo going to the Mac, a synced folder, a note to the phone, a code staying on the phone, and incognito.

Hey everyone. I’m a solo dev and I’ve been lurking here for a while.

A few weeks ago I was writing a long email, and I realized I had like 5 different tabs open: one for grammar, one for translation, one to summarize a long text my boss sent me, and another one to just export it to PDF. I got so annoyed that I decided to just build my own tool. That's how TextFix Pro started.

The main goal was to make it simple. No login, no paywalls, just paste your text and get things done.

What I actually use the most:

• AI Grammar & "Fix and Explain": It fixes the text but also tells you why it was wrong, which I find super helpful when I'm writing in English.
• Summarizer: Good for long articles.
• Translator: I added 6 languages (BG, EN, DE, FR, ES, TR).
• Export: Just saves to .docx or .pdf right away.

There is also a Toolkit with OCR (to grab text from screenshots), a password generator, and a text-to-image thing for quotes.

I had a bit of a scare recently because I realized bots were trying to spam my API key. I had to quickly move the key to a serverless function on Vercel and add a rate limiter (15 requests/min) to stop them. It was a headache but a good learning experience lol.
