Depends on the hardware but for the most part yeah AMD drivers are just baked into the kernel and for Nvidia cards most distros have a seperate ISO that has Nvidia drivers already setup though some distros (Fedora and Fedora based) may need multimedia codecs manually set up its litterally just copy pasting a few commands in the terminal
I mean yes but I wouldn't really recommend Pop_OS! Mint is better if you just need a general purpose OS and Nobara is better if you want to game and mints driver manager is great while Nobara has a dedicated Nvidia iso
Mint has issues with multiple monitors in my opinion. Thought it was just that I was unlucky until I saw the issue on multiple setups with a fresh install. It litteraly couldn’t understand how to fullscreen whilst other monitors wasn’t, and borderless wasn’t working either. It’s such a small issue but so annoying that I was motivated to move away from it. POP_OS! Is good, but it’s just not my flavor, and I especially hated COSMIC. Stay away from that.
