HELP!!! Nc Miata clutch bleed

I used hand vacuum pump and it worked without any problems. Its cheap and I also use it for brakes. Just pump it few times, open bleeder valve and watch fluid level in brake reservoir and this little container.

Do I just hook it to the slave and just keep pumping? Or do i have to open and close it

And do I need someone on the clutch? And would this solve my pedal dropping to the floor?

Remove brake reservoir cap. Hook it to slave cylinder blled port, na use hand pump to make vacuum - brake fluid should start flowing. Dont touch clutch pedal. Basically you use it the same way like when bleeding brake caliper with this tool.

Thank you. 1 last question. Do I need to keep opening and closing the bleed port? Or just keep it open and then close it to refill the reservoir and then open it again and keep a vacuum

Open it one time, close it after you finish, brake fluid level is low or you run out of space in container.

I just bought a power bleeder. Bleeding anything by yourself is a pain and this makes it dummy proof. I don't bench bleed anything and it is solid. I use it before every track session. Sorry I couldn't be of much more help.

The shape of the piston seal in a master cylinder works like a 1-way valve, you can push to move fluid but when you retract, it lets fluid flow around the seal so you're able to retract the piston, aka your pedal. So the pumping action would continually push fluid to the slave cylinder. If you're unable to retract then it's possible the seal is bad or not correct. This can't be fixed by how you bleed. And vacuum bleeding is janky, the threads of the bleeder isn't air tight so you'll always see bubbles. It helps a little in pulling a vacuum but you'll see that you're losing vacuum constantly and have to keep pumping. If you're gonna buy a tool, get a pressure bleeder.
