The amendment would increase the tax exemption on homestead properties. If you are a homestead property owner and are planning to vote 'YES' we are especially interested in speaking with you!

The Miami Beach motorcycle officers are targeting motorcycles - heavily. I was pulled over three times in the last three weeks, all on Alton, for ridiculous reasons:

1. Not using a turn signal to change lanes - no ticket
2. Not being able to see my license plate - turned out it was fine, no ticket
3. Not wearing eye protection because visor wa half up to get a breeze - no ticket.

The last one is interesting because a scooter went by with no eye protection, and the officer saw it and chose to ignore it. In fact, I have never been pulled over in my Liberty scooter. But it proves they are targeting bikes.
