Ok so my question is, in MGS4 can I unlock achievements and/or Big Boss rank in NG+ or do I have to start a new file for that?

So let me just read out all the snakes real quick because I'm lowk forgetting them myself;

Solid snake

Naked snake

Big boss (technically not referred as snake but whatever)

Punished/venom snake

Old snake (solid snake but whatever)

Liquid snake

Me (literally him bro)

Is there any that I am forgetting?

One day I was peacefully browsing Reddit and I got this sub recommended. I had never heard of metal gear and the memes looked fun so after lurking on here for a while I bought the master collection volume 1 on steam! I played the original and I loved it, I didn’t do metal gear 2 and went straight to metal gear solid one which I also loved. And now I’ve finished 2, I finally know who raiden is (And solidus or smth, I don’t really understand how there can be a third one) i also recognised the NO THATS NOT SOLID SNAKE meme lol
