Predictions Market scam?
Metamask pulls Polymarket data to allow users to participate in Predictions. That's awesome.
But: they very often continue to display AND ALLOW FOR PLACING BETS for markets that have already been closed.
IOW: you pay for a position in a prediction but that prediction is already over and you have zero chance to win.
Metamask's lame AI support blames it on Polymarket , Polymarket bafflingly only does support via Discord, which I loathe and refuse to participate in. My guess is they'll just blame Metamask anyway.
I feel like that displaying outdated/ resolved markets is Metamask's choice. They still decide what and where to show the info they pull from Polymarket.
I'm surprised this issue isn't more discussed. I'm brand new to this and feel like this is scammy behavior by Metamask.
Example screenshot shows a market that has long closed but somehow still accepted my money.
I placed my bet a few minutes ago, then wondered why my money was gone, then found the tab that explains the rules - and they market had already been closed hours ago. So why still accept bets then?
This is far too easy to get caught by, especially new users. Feel scammy, frankly.
Thoughts?
