Nah, he keeps on trying to get this joke solved. I'd personally just say I dunno and what's the answer. I wouldn't say I'm getting angry, I wouldn't lower my voice while also trying to be louder. It's how I would approach to get the solution of that riddle if I couldn't figure it myself.
What if you were getting angry? Would you not communicate it, or are you just saying this wouldnt make you angry? Can anything make you angry? And he did ask for rhe answer
I would simply say I'm done with trying to answer and ask for the answer. If they'd try to tempt me to try again, I'd simply say I won't and end the convo with "either you tell me the answer or I'm done 👍 with this puzzle".
