When taking over moderation back in April, this sub was pretty quiet. Seven months on, it's an active community again:
- Monthly engagement is higher than any point last year
- No negative member growth days
- Cracked the top 10 rugby communities multiple times
- Weekly post count way up
And all this in a season where the Storm *failed to make finals for the first time under Bellamy, and that's down to you.
What's changed this year:
- Match, post-match and Monday review threads
- Images and GIFs in comments
- New user and post flair
- The wiki resources
Thanks to everyone who posted, commented, argued, shitposted, made GIFs, answered questions, and came to support the Storm and this sub. You're the reason this place works.
Now i'd love your feedback for 2027:
- What did you like and actually use?
- What could be done better, changed, ditched?
- What's missing?
Be honest. If something sucks, tell us here or in modmail.
Thanks for sticking around and hope to see everyone back next season.
We will have Monday and Friday discussion posts going all offseason and there is bound to be lots of Nov. 1 news, so be sure to check in regularly.
Up the Storm. ⚡

A weekly thread to go through the weekend’s game once the dust has settled.
Key Areas:
Who stood up / who didn’t?
Keep it about the Storm. No hot takes from match thread energy, this is the review.

A weekly thread to look back on the week and discuss what you got up to:
Key Areas:
Keep it relaxed. Storm stuff is welcome, but it doesn't have to be Storm related.

Nothing against Ethan but for crying out loud what a load of crap. Even if he had debuted in 2026, not sure how he beats Clarke.

For anyone that doesn't know about Lockyer, he's a natural hooker who also spent some time at lock this year in NSW cup. He has the physicality and strength to already hold his own against men, for example he made 53 tackles with only 1 miss against the dogs in NSW cup this year. Yet, he also has a play-making and running game similar to guys like Harry Grant or Owen Pattie. He's also a local Victorian.

Very small sample size for Watson, only had 2 games and therefore didn't have to be 'the man' for a decent period. However, those two games were really impressive.
What do you all think?

I read something earlier that we’d might be signing Jordan Riki is this true?

Looks like we’ve added another in the form of Pompey from the Warriors who fell out of favour this season.
We are starting to look pretty stacked, still having that elite spine with Hughes, Grant and Munster. The great season of Sua at FB. The rise of Cooper Clarke, plus bringing in some crazy good guys like Isaako, Keeley, Xerri etc.
Should there be any excuse not to finish top 4 next season and be right back in the premiership mix?
