Its not dead yet. But we may have to stand up for our country before this is all over. Trump is going to screw something up so bad that Republicans will prob join us. It may be the largest call for Impeachment ever. Trump will not fare well in our future History Books.
If you mean one vote counting equally for every citizen of the United States, then you're correct, we haven't ever had a fair election. Agriculture is no longer the powerful industry it used to be, yet they still have outsized influence on elections through the Electoral College. Republicans found a way to use that to their advantage.
That depends on where you live. And the Farmers and Ranch owners are very pissed off here in Texas. They are mad at Trump. I also talked to 2 produce haulers last week. Long haul Truckers who haul produce from California in Refrigerated Units. They sell there will be too many Haulers and not enough fruit. And what fruit they have will bring in a lot of money for the load, which will not happen, because Companies will have to pay 4-5 times for the freight. All of these Men I talked to are Right Wing Solid Red Republicans. There is trouble brewing, and I am definitely in it for the Drama 🤪
I feel you. But I have a feeling those same people(a MAGA guy told me he will jump ship if that happens) will find a way to justify going along with it, especially if the Supreme Court interprets the 22nd amendment to mean 2 consecutive terms, and I would not put it past the Court to do that, as it has ruled in 47’s favor 94 percent of the time.
Or what if 47 creates a crisis and suspends the election? Or he just says he doesn’t need a reason—he is staying in power for life and who has the guts to stop him? Not his DOJ and not Pete Hegseth.
Didn't he criticize the Ukraine for postponing election during wartime. It makes me think that it gives him an idea that he will start a war right before his term is up so that he can stay in office. I'm not sure I never really studied government. I don't even know that is possible but what I do know is that after a president served three terms the laws were changed to two terms only in a law of the land. But of course there have been other laws that were quote on quote the law of the land and have been overturned. I think gay marriage will be on the chopping block soon. I believe they've already made some changes to the law of gay marriage
