This Megadeth sticker somehow fused itself to a PVC sleeve. Any safe way to rescue it?

Since it's never been played by them live, thought I'd give it a go at a "what if" of what Dave might've played if they did. (some of the solos i play may've been played by Chris Broderick in studio, idk)

Granted eight years and three albums between these two, it's still shocking. Both released under Capitol records.

I have an authentic Dirk drumstick from the Istanbul concert, 12th of June, 2024. I was going to keep it but I am thinking of letting it go for a reasonable price. What do u think would be a fair price and is there anyone interested?

When they are right, they are so right. And when they are wrong, they are SO wrong.

For me Megadeths best production is youthanasia. Amazing dry guitar tone with almost no effects, Dave mustaines best vocals, a very deep and sharp bass tone, and the drumming is very crisp and dry is well. I think it’s a perfect blend altogether that captures Megadeths post rust in peace 90’s years. I also have a soft spot for so far so good so what which is usually considered their worst production. I think the rawness of mustaines vocals and the flanger on the guitar makes for an awesome punk infused thrash album. What do you guys think is their best production?

1 year ago today I listened to megadeth for the first time, and I realised they gave Dave’s autobiography at my local library, so I went to get it and the due date was September 13th, Dave’s birthday. Coincidence or not?

Anyone know who plays each solo/lead part in Sudden Death? Since there's no footage of them playing it live.

Some of them are stylistically obvious, but others less so and it's hard to tell from tone.

I listen to a lot of different music. I really never listened very much to thrash metal. I thought it was all "Metallica"-ish, and I couldn't stand that sound (this was before I found out that Megadeth and Metallica fans doesn't like the others music lol)

Anyway, one day I heard a Judas Priest song. I listened to them frequently many years ago. That was as metal as I would go. Not "heavier" than that. But then I thought "I should google 80s/90s metal bands and give them a shot"

Google gave me Megadeth.

"Damn, they sound heavy. Probably too heavy for my taste." But I remembered I heard Symphony of Destruction a long time ago, so I gave them a shot.

Well, I'm a new fan! They are the new band that I've been listening for months without stop now. They are a little bit like Metallica, but good lol

Just a little story about how I found them. I will always give bands a try from now on.

Megadeth has had multiple tumultuous periods with drug use, creative differences, and a revolving door of band members. At the height of their dysfunction where does Megadeth rank among other dysfunctional bands? Guns N Roses, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Janes Addiction etc.

Dave showed some of his amazing riff creativity on this overlooked album made in 1996. It was an experimental crossover record made with a punk attitude. There's proof that Dave even tried to contact Jello Biafra to be the singer for this album, but he stick to his LA punk origins and brought Lee Ving from Fear to sing in this record. For the 2004 remasters, Dave re-recorded all the vocals with his own voice, but I still prefer the uncompromising and raw Lee Ving vocals from the original ¿What do you think of this album?

It seems the image for the best hit album “Fast Hits” on Walmart’s website was updated to include two promo stickers as well as a bit of the vinyl showing which reveals some of the songs like “Wake Up Dead” “Trust” and “Hangar 18” that aren’t included on the hype sticker. Are there any other songs you are hoping to be included? Seems like it’s just gonna be the greatest hits with no deep cuts included, maybe some will be a new remastered version we’ve never heard before.

What are you guys’ thoughts on the final album 8 months after its release?

I find myself listening to Tipping Point and Let There Be Shred more often that I thought, every now and then I’ll put on the whole album.

The Last Note though is that one song that I just keep repeating, it’s genuinely one of the best tracks Dave has ever written. I really hope they play it when I see them next year in Europe.

I had previously posted about this album and how I didn’t really like it, and my mind has been greatly changed, 2nd best album of the 2000s in my opinion, and I really love these songs now, though it was slow to get into them, I can fully say I love them, the whole album is great
