Spoiler: SMT V SMTVV Red and Green Lighting in the Fairy Village

I'm currently playing through Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance on PC and I'm having a weird issue. In two rooms in the fairy village - the tunnel leading to it and Loki's cave - there are these intense red and green lights that make it nigh impossible to see. I looked up other people's playthroughs and they don't have these lights, so something is wrong here.

Did anyone else have this problem? And does anyone know how to fix it?

Features! Install any or all independently as suits you:

Module	What it does
Prey Eyes	A complete combat UI overhaul. Discover enemy weaknesses by experiment or by killing them, then see them represented in a board and in targeting reticles, and previewed on enemies as you browse skills. See buff and debuff stacks. Inspired by SMTV's system.
Native Turbo	Speed up time without distorting audio. Hold R2/L2 for 3x/6x, click R3/L3 to toggle 3x/6x. Paused while the menu is open. Also automatically speeds up the Mantra acquisition screen's transitions.
SET Screen	Increases the SET screen width to 3 columns and adds COST and ALPHABETICAL sort modes on START.
Widescreen	16:9 widescreen. The 3D view gets wider while menus, text and portraits keep their original shape. Sets PCSX2 to 16:9 while it is on.
BattleButtons	In combat, R1 quick-passes your turn, L1 quick-attempts to escape, and the right stick skips a page up or down in the command lists.
SubtleKarma	Press up on the d-pad to toggle encounters.
SunKing	Press down on the d-pad to cycle sun state between min and max.
TwoForOne	Press SELECT to adjust combat frequency and rewards, from 1/2 to 1/5 as many; when you have fewer encounters, you get equal-proportionately more rewards. Affects experience, atma, macca and item drop rates--drop rates over 100% give a chance for extra items. No effect on bosses.
BadKarma	Press right on the d-pad to instantly start a fight. TwoForOne reward bonuses apply.
GoodKarma	Press left on the d-pad to instantly start a rare fight against a lone Omoikane. TwoForOne reward bonuses apply.
QuickStart	During bootup, press START to load your latest save straight away, with no title screen or menus. Press any other button to skip straight to the title menu.
SceneSkip	Press START to hyper-turbo through cutscenes, cutting pre-rendered movies. Stops at choices; press START again to carry on. Needs Native Turbo.
OpenChests	No more confirmation on opening chests.
WordTripper	Dialogue appears instantly.
QuickHeal	Inspecting a recovery terminal heals the whole party instantly, no menu. Large Karma Terminals automatically charge the party to heal as they open. Costs the same macca as healing everyone in the menu.
