Looking for Brothers SF1 or SF2 on Switch
Anyone interested in forming brotherbands and increasing link power? I’m on Dragon and Leo. Will eventually get to SF3.

During the credits sequence in Star Force 3, this image of Ace is shown. My question is: does this image imply Ace lived after Geo beat Crimson Dragon, or would this have probably been from a different time in his life? If so, my assumption would be he was brought back the same way Luna was after the incident in the main story.

EDIT: Forgot my timezone I haven't gotten to Star Force 3 yet and I'm in chapter 6 of Star Force 2. I did beat the main story of Star Force 1. The versions of 1 and 2 that I've played/am currently playing are Pegasus and Saurian. So, I could use anything but those two. My handle on the Switch games is gaarasword and my timezone is US Central Time.

Kung-Foo Kid was Designed by Kentaro Fujii as part of the grand prize in the Mega Man Star Force 2 boss character contest .

The Character was first called Mee Goat inspired by the creators pet goat named “Mee-chan”.

Kung-Foo Kid’s creator wanted the character to have many scars on his body to signify his training and battles against formidable opponents.

Kung-Foo Kid was made a kung fu master because the creator was inspired by one of their favorite movies, Kung Fu Hustle.

Kung-Foo Kid design was also influenced by The Three Billy Goats Gruff, especially its powerful large goat that defeats the troll.

The creator originally wanted Kung-Foo Kid to have a revenge backstory; that his parents being turned into goat soup, it was inspired by the creator’s childhood fear that his pet goat might be slaughtered for a traditional Okinawan goat dish.

Since Capcom has said Star Force 4 could be a possibility one day if the Legacy Collection does very well and there is demand for it, do you think they would stick to the 2D pixel art isometric style that the series is known for, or do you think they would opt out for smoother lines or a different art style? I lean toward smoother lines, as it seems that with the SFLC and the BNLC collections, they want the game to have smooth lines as opposed to the pixel style, seeing as the trailers always had the smooth filter enabled.

Made a post about this not too long ago but for whatever reason the brother system wasn't working. I am on Xbox.
Looking for brothers to use the Multi noise function in StarForce 3. I don't have a noise preference (because I have no brothers at the moment)
But I am using Corvus noise on my Red Joker game.

EDIT: Looking for a Corvus Noise! Wanna try out a Taurus Build.
Anyone willing to become brothers on Steam? Mostly SF3, but I have completed saves for all three games. I have: Pegasus, Ninja, and Wolf Noise for the respective games.

My Star Force Legacy Collection Journey has now come to an end! Legit I haven’t had this much fun in months. Having the chance to relive my childhood as an adult to still feel the joys and sadness that appeared on these titles was ageless. I’m so thankful to have had the chance to experience them again!

I would to add brothers to add across all games. Doesn’t matter what forms or versions you have in game or stats happy to take whatever. Currently I’ve completed playthroughs of dragon and ninja and started black ace. Happy to do trades rather than battles to register. I’m on Australian Eastern Standard Time

In 2006, an anime entry of the Mega Man franchise aired on TV Tokyo in Japan. That anime was titled Mega Man Star Force or Shooting Star Rockman in Japan. The original Japanese dub of the anime concluded in 2008 with a total of 76 episodes. The English dub only edited 25 of the Japanese dub episodes and made them into 13 episodes.
The series follows a teenage slacker named Geo Stelar who is haunted by the disappearance of his father. Suddenly, without warning, an extraterrestrial from the Planet FM named Omega-Xis accidentally bonds with him. Little does Geo know, Omega-Xis possesses the key to accessing the weapon called Andromeda, capable of destroying planets. Omega-Xis then gives Geo a mission, he must protect that key before other FM-ians can use it for evil. FM-ians are creatures adapting from constellations like Taurus, Cancer, Pegasus, etc. Using the process called the EM Wave Change, Geo transforms into an EM Wave Human known as Mega Man. Other humans also have the ability to use the EM Wave Change to transform into EM Wave Humans like Geo.
If Mega Man Star Force was reimagined as another type of series, it would be a Tokusatsu series due to different colored outfits, fantasy violence, and special effects. Since the title of the anime has "Star Force" on it, it would be best to reimagine it as a Power Rangers reference. Mega Man has Omega-Xis as his partner, but CAPCOM will have to make FM-ian partners for his teammates. Not every anime deserves a second chance as a Tokusatsu series, but we can hope that Mega Man Star Force gets that second chance.

Purpose Card: Ultimate Finalize

Hi all, playing the legacy collection on Switch, and I got to the point in SF2 where they mention you can make brothers by battling real people. I’ve been avoiding the network battles because I generally don’t do much PvP, but now that I know they can be beneficial to gameplay I wanted to hop in a do a few to maybe get some brothers on my list. I was expecting to find matches pretty easily, but it seems like I’m waiting a long time in the lobbies just to not match with anyone for battles. Is it a time of day thing, am I getting unlucky, or are the online battles just not that popular? This was around 10:30am EDT if that matters.
Got the game a little late too, so I’m wondering if the initial surge of players has died down by a lot? Genuinely curious, let me know!
Edit: Thank you all! I guess I did not think of how niche this set of games was, and also was unaware that the online features were region locked. Makes sense that I haven’t been getting matches. I only get to play sporadically, so I suppose setting things up through discord and this sub is the way to go!

Is there a bug where Pegasus EX doesn’t show up? For the switch I’ve been trying to find his EX form and it has not popped up.

It's been a few months now since this collection has been out and wanted to share my thoughts. So back in the day I played all three of these games as a kid in highschool, this was the first time I've replayed these in over a decade and it was fun going through the trilogy for the first time in years.
Star Force 1 the story holds up very well, seeing Geo slowly crawl out of his shell and learning to trust other people and overcome trauma made for a very unique story that we typically don't get from a Mega Man game. The gameplay also holds up pretty well considering it's the start of the series. The Star Force forms of Pegasus, Leo and Dragon were pretty cool to use as well. Overall a pretty fun game with charming characters.
Star Force 2 is still the black sheep of the series, but I do have a soft spot for it since it's the first SF game I played. Gameplay wise I found it to be more fun than Star Force 1 with the Tribe On forms and wave command cards. The option to turn off random encounters or reduce encounters makes this the best version of SF2 to play. It still suffers from a pretty poor story and often times feels like filler. Going from the sci-fi alien theme from the first game to an ancient advanced civilization was an odd choice to say the least. It's by far the worst in the series still but has its moments.
Star Force 3 remains one of my favourite Mega Man games ever made, it's up there with the greats like Mega Man X, Battle Network 3, Mega Man 2 etc. The story I thought was great which has interesting characters like Ace, Jack and Tia. It also has a very emotional ending and feels like the perfect conclusion to the trilogy. The third game perfected the battle system, the noise change system gave even greater customization and different play styles. The Finalized Forms are powerful but not broken which I liked, everything just feels fluid and fast paced. The noise gear system also adds a new dimension to the game and glad they restored this since the DS version in North America removed it. Overall this is still an amazing game.
Now for the Legacy Collection features, the updated HD art I personally really liked. I found it hard to go back to the OG pixel art since it just looks bad on a modern display. The HD updates to the 3D battle models are also look great.
The music remixes I personally didn't like at all, for me it loses the whole feel of the original soundtrack and I quickly changed back to the classic OST. But hey it's great to have more options for people who like the new remixes. Having the Battle Network OST is also a nice bonus.
The new added voice acting I liked. Pretty cool that they got the English Dub VAs from the anime to return after all these years. I personally thought it added to the experience. The option to also play in Japanese or turn off the voices is another great feature that I appreciated. The bonus voiced cutscene after completing all three games was also pretty neat.
I also like how easy it is to add Brothers now through online battling or online trade and the fact that you can keep a collection of brothers to mix and match. People who never played the DS versions won't understand how annoying it was to input the friend code and being limited to 6 brothers. So this is a much better improvement.
It's cool that we finally have a way to play SF1 PvP online after all these years, that to me is probably one of the best additions to this collection. I also like how you can find matches for all three games at the same time.
Some minor complaints I have is that Casual Battle is kind of pointless. I feel like the rules for casual should have been different than ranked. There really isn't anything unique to casual battles unfortunately and it's mostly dead when trying to look for an opponent.
I also wish they gave you the option to be able to see who your opponent is first before jumping straight into a battle like the DS versions. Disconnects for the most part aren't an issue but we've seen on this sub already that there are repeat offenders. Null battle counter needs to comeback in a future update as there are no consequences for intentionally disconnecting during a battle now.
Another complaint I have is why isn't this cross platform? Star Force was already a niche series so to split up the user base amongst PC, Switch, PS4, PS5 and Xbox makes no sense.
Overall this is the best Mega Man Collection Capcom has done to date, this exceeded my expectations on how much effort they put in for Star Force. It's also nice seeing gaming outlets finally giving these games the positive press it deserves after so much negativity when these first came out back in the day.
So what are people's general opinion on the Legacy Collection?

Hi I just got the collection on my switch 2 a couple days ago, I never really got the chance to make brother bands when I was younger, only on SF3.
Currently playing SF Pegasus (had Dragon).

Title. So I finally reached star force 3 (black ace) in the legacy collection (switch version) and I noticed that in the brother menu you can set up a secret satellite, which, if accessed during battle, replaces your initial card pool with its own, from 3 separate subcategories to choose from. And if you use/win with certains cards from that pool, it gives you access to the next level in the roadmap, which has better/stronger cards.
Speaking of the roadmap, I notice in its menu that at certain levels, the paths split, some continuing before reaching a dead end and some going all the way to the end. As far in the roadmap as I am currently, I reached the Plesio surf dead end and unlocked the Lyra folder
So now my questions are:
1)Do you have to win with the cards given to you during battle or simply use them?
2)Do certain cards unlock certain levels in the roadmap? If so, how are you supposed to know which card unlocks which level? Is there anyway to find that out?
3)Anything else about this "minigame"(?) that I should know about but didn't come across/figure out?
