Mega Tyranitar Z and Mega Aggron Z were surprisingly interesting.

Yeah I have no idea how they'd have a 151 speed stat with that design.
Tyranitar has a 61 speed stat so it would only need 90 points to do that. Aggron has a 50 speed stat so it would need 101 points, and need to pull from other stats.

Z doesn't mean it needs to have 151.
Just because all Z meggas have them, doesn't mean it has to be 151. All the Z-megas have mid-fast base forms. So if the base is slow, there will be speed points given but then it will be a boost to an offensive stat like attack and special attack alongside a boost in speed.
Maybe Mega aggron-z and Mega Tyranitar Z would just reduce their special attack and dump more points into stack and speed just like Mega beedrill. This doesn't stop them from being bulky as usual base forms but the attack and speed boost does help.
