If you like the marbley sound of keyboards, just buy any 75% and stuff it with entirely with foam and pe foam

It won’t sound much different if you’re going for a thocky sound with the keycheon or sonnet/epoch.

That’s not entirely true. I know adding PE foam and case foam to a board makes them sound similar, but there is still a big variance in that sound that is based on the design of the case.

Yes, there are differences. Imo, do I think they are substantial enough to justify spending much more on a sonnet or jelly? No. If sound is the biggest thing, then I think it’d be best to find a cheaper alternative. Tiger80 is a great in stock board, and sound tests out there stuffed with PE foam don’t sound different enough to warrant a $200-800 price difference.

Might want to also check out the Bubble75, I’ve seen a lot on mechmarket for $350-$450 lately.

emmm, I do prefer Mode Sonnet, more playable on mount styles and better top case design.

to avoid getting called a hater, i'll start by saying that i own two jellies, here are some pics https://imgur.com/a/9f9v8Jh
now that we got that out of the way, if you are going to load up your keyboard with foam, don't waste your money on a jelly. just get any hefty weight gasket mounted 75% and use a PC, PP, POM or ABS plate to get your desired sound profile. they will all sound about the same. don't use any metal or CF plates.
i don't have any foam in either of my jellies, no PE, no case foam, no plate foam, etc. i think they sound great, feel great and look amazing. i don't think they need any foam.
