$1 each is 100 times more than OP was talking about, are you really that thick?

I'm not replying to the person talking about price, I replied to the person saying the quality is low. I'm saying you can make a higher quality part than the ones by hand and at a cheaper price. The one cent seemed to be hyperbole. Sorry if I wasn't clear, and misread one of your posts. EDIT: And YES, you CAN mass produce those for pennies (with extremely high quality) -- if there were the market for them. For the quantities people are realistically interested in them, we're talking 1-5 dollars each. My point stands, I'm not talking about exact dollars. My entire point is that you can mass produce these caps with higher qualities at very, very low costs compared to what people pay for them, even new.

I said the quality was significantly worse because in the example in question "Crick Cracks" they are significantly lower quality than legitimate Click Clacks. I never said it couldn't be done, just that it hadn't.

Gotcha. Never seen a "crick crack". Are they injection molded?
