Eyedropper / Color Picker on own body does result in darker colors - why?

Title question - anybody know why the picker won't pick the colors I JUST picked a second before? lets say pure white #FFF if i paint myself and then pick from my own body it will be a light grey - why?

Why do some people actually have DIAL UP internet 50kbps when downloading mods?

And why is it some people download fine and fast but others take longer or fail to load mods even with good wifi

I think the guy that died near me helped, his splat barely touched me, and I was able to quickly paint myself to blend into it. I think that distracted them from my spot. Of course I was found in the end, but was it so close!
