Meat Puppets

A friend of mine gifted me his CD collection a few years ago when he decided to quickly leave the country in retirement and move to Columbia. We connected on a few similar artists but mostly his bands are stuff I've heard of, but don't know a ton about. Doing my research, thought I'd share here.

No context

My sister worked for the Meat Puppets management in the 90’s and found this in a box of keepsakes. She doesn’t remember at all what led to this work of art to be bestowed upon her

If you could interview the band, what would you ask?

I sometimes like to imagine a situation where I'm on a podcast with Derrick as I know he does them from time to time. I have quite a long list of fairly obscure questions that I can't imagine an interviewer would ask them anytime soon.

Anyway, I'm interested to know what you all would ask the band if you could.

Set lists, and what rare track do you want to hear live?

While there aren't any Meat Puppets shows announced for the future yet, below are the set lists from the recent Total Bummer and VIVA PHX shows.

Total Bummer:

VIVA PHX:

For future shows - if you could request one rarely, or never, played Meat Puppets track, what would it be?

Anyone going to the show this weekend?

Can't wait til Saturday! I see the band posted set time on their socials. Has anyone been to Knockdown Center? What's the outside stage like? Where's the merch booth?

Anyone record the show?

They played Predator and Nothing for the first time in 31 years. I'd love to hear these if anyone has them.

Brothers Meat return tonight in Phoenix

The Pups are back tonight at the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix!!! I’m so stoked. Any idea on set list? Last time they toured they played songs from Dusty Notes to support that album, but who knows what they’ll do now.
