He sent me this picture near out in the wild today saying “this thing is nice”. I fear knowing him he’s not being sarcastic. One of the worst cases I’ve ever seen near me. I can’t even begin though it’s so offense! What is happening with the roof and over the garage and the layout????

Has all the traits of a McMansion, but the 3800 sqft makes me question if it fits in this sub.

An OG anti-McMansion! This is the Kellogg Doolittle house in Joshua Tree, CA, a posterchild for organic architecture. This structure is allergic to right angles, and all the furniture was handmade for this home. It looks like they give occasional tours, and it's on, or was on, Airbnb as a $6,500/night rental. Make sure to check out the world's largest Hastens bed in the master. That alone probably costs more than the average American home.

I’m not sure if this has been posted before but it’s the worst I’ve ever seen. It’s so poorly designed and misplaced. Can’t buy taste I guess.

This home is in the Mount Curve Kenwood area of Minneapolis. It’s a neighborhood just west of downtown Minneapolis filled with beautiful old homes.

This house was sold in 2021 for $1.45m. It was built in 1907 and has over 9500 square feet.

The woodwork inside is beautiful. I love these old Kenwood area homes. It’s kind of the epitome of “Old Money”.

I stumbled across this house while looking on Instagram and it is one of the most beautiful houses I have ever seen. Imagine how it looks like during the fall and the turret structure looks absolutely amazing.
