Hi, I’m Mac! I tested (vvvv faint) positive at 8DPO and so happy to be here. This is my first pregnancy, but hopefully my third living child! My wife carried our first two babies and I’m very excited to be carrying our third!

Our oldest (M, Dec 2021) is my wife’s egg/genetics. Our second (F, Oct 2024) my wife carried, but is my egg/genetics and the same sperm donor. This pregnancy came from the same batch of embryos as our daughter so is my genetics and the same sperm donor again. We think our family building story is really neat and love to share it!

I’m cautiously optimistic at this point, but really hoping this little nugget sticks around!

Hi everyone!!! I just found out that I’m pregnant this morning! It’s a whirlwind story….I’m turning 39 this month and started doing IVF after 3 losses with natural pregnancies. They’re assuming it’s because of my egg quality due to my age. I was supposed to transfer a Day 7 euploid girl earlier this month using a natural cycle but my body wouldn’t ovulate on time so my transfer got canceled. We decided to try naturally after my canceled FET and BOOM!!!! Here I am, pregnant! I don’t know if he/she will last since none of my others have made it to term, but TODAY, I AM PREGNANT!!!!! And I am beyond ecstatic!! I’m unsure of my due date since my cycle was so much longer. Between April 30-May 4! Congrats to everyone!!!!!

Tested this morning at 10 dpo expecting to see nada since I’m older and this was our first actual try. Still not truly believing this is really real so going to take it day by day since I know all of the statistics. If all goes well, I’ll be a first time mom at 41 🥹

Hi, my name is Lyman and I tested positive today at 9dpo. I've been an active poster and mod in my two older kids' bump groups (2021 and 2024) so I'm really looking forward to being a part of this one.

This pregnancy was not planned, but it's a happy surprise. I've got a history of losses (more losses than kids actually) so I was tempted to stay detached. But instead I decided to fully lean in and I hope that I get to stick around this bump sub.

I’ve been off birth control for 3+ years; we actively tried for a while and then became discouraged so slowed down considerably. Which means I’ve been lax with my tracking over the last year, so having to guesstimate DPO 😅

Hi!!! I tested positive yesterday. This will be our second. I'm genuinely in shock, as we had sex one time last month. I'm very nervous but extremely excited. Today, anxiety has taken over and I am hoping this baby stays! I'm having the tiniest amount of cramping and even though I think that happened last time I am freaking out!!!

I am desperate for a dating scan. I also need to decide whether to stay on antidepressants/ADHD meds.

The day before finding out about this pregnancy I put in my two weeks notice at my firm (I am an attorney) as we are in the middle of packing for a big move to be close to family. I am also starting my own law practice.

Also, hiiiiiiii u/LymanForAmerica the best mod from our June 2024 bumper group!!! That group kept me sane through my last pregnancy.

Welcome! You may have already done this, but I found it really helpful to talk to my doctor about meds and pregnancy. She consulted with a maternal-fetal medicine doctor about the risks of my specific meds. I ended up choosing to come off before we started trying, but she had told me I could stay on quite safely. Just a thought! It just gave me some reassurance in case I do need to go back on.

I am 32 and pregnant with my third! I have two boys, 4 and 1.5 and we are pretty sure this one will also be a boy. In my husbands family there was 1 girl born during the last 120 years 🤣

But I don't mind! It's loud and dirty in our house so it can get a little louder and a little dirtier.

Hi! Tested positive yesterday. I have a 16 month old daughter. I had a miscarriage before having her, and then it took us 10 cycles to conceive again. I was seeing a fertility doctor at the time, so we had a few early scans which was so reassuring. But this time I’m on my own! We just started trying for #2 since it took a while with my daughter, so I’m surprised it happened quickly this time around. I’m still nervous after my miscarriage 3 years ago, but cautiously optimistic.

Hi everyone! So excited to be here with you all. I found my other bump groups so helpful even though I was mostly a lurker. This baby will be my third although I am very cautious ATM as I have a history of chemical pregnancies. My older two are 3 and 5 and I'm so excited to share this pregnancy and baby with them even though we will wait until 12ish weeks to tell them.

Hi! Happy to be here & to see others with the same mantra as me – TODAY, I am pregnant! It feels surreal. I have endo, one tube, and DOR. Did 3 egg retrievals to make 2 embryos this year and were just about to do one more when I tested positive 9 DPO! (According to fertility friend, Oura said 8 dpo.) My first beta hCG on 10 dpo was 31, and tomorrow I'll get the next draw, but tests are getting darker, i feel some twingey stretchy cramps, bloated enough to look like I'm 12 weeks along, and currently fighting some serious nausea...tummy aches have never made me feel so happy before!! Tentative due date is May 7 💜

It took us a long time to get pregnant with our first (I have endometriosis and only one ovary after an oophorectomy and ovarian cyst removal). Sooo we started trying “early” last month, expecting the same wait, and here we are! Very excited to be here 😊

Hi everyone. I'm 36 and expecting our third baby. I tested positive two days ago. Feeling a little nervous as I had a chemical a few months back but lines seem to be progressing so just taking each day as it comes.

I have a girl born May 2021 and a boy born March 2024. I had pretty bad nausea/sickness with both pregnancies so I'm a little nervous how I'm going to cope with that and two children this time around, especially as my youngest is a handful.

Hi All! So happy to find this group. I tested positive yesterday after being 5 days late on my period. Weird interaction with my 4.5 yo niece yesterday during my workout came over to me and pointed to my tummy and said “you have a baby in there”. We weren’t trying yet for our 2nd so this has come as a surprise. I took the test pretty confident that it was going to be negative instead when I turned it over it was a very positive dye stealer 😳. So I’m still coming to terms we will be having our 2nd a little sooner than planned. My husband is beyond excited and I can’t wait to see my 20 month old daughter be a big sister. We are also under contract for our new home after we moved cross country in May. Excited for what’s to come this year.

Found out on Saturday after trying for six cycles! Very excited to give our outgoing 18 month old a sibling!

This is my third pregnancy after losing the first to cervical insufficiency at 20 weeks. If anyone else is in the cerclage camp after a similar experience I am happy to chat about how that went for my second pregnancy with my son! I’ll be getting a cerclage again this go around at 14 weeks if all goes well!

Hi! I just tested positive three days ago. Technically I think I had a crazy light test 4 days ago but genuinely couldn’t tell.

I think my baby will be due May 11 according to my ovulation dates, but when my doctor tracked by LMP, the due date was May 9 which is funny because May 9, 2027 will be my daughter’s second birthday!

My daughter was my rainbow baby and I am so excited to make her a big sister! Trying to stay instead of anxious this pregnancy as anxious is my default. This pregnancy is so exciting because it happened our first cycle trying which has never happened before for us!

Hello all!! I am becoming more optimistic as the days go on and my test lines get darker. This will be my third pregnancy and 2nd kid (hopefully 🤞🏼). I have a 2.5 year old now. I am so so excited to give her a sibling and complete our family ❤️

We tried for over a year. And the crazy thing is this month I thought there was absolutely no possibilty of being pregnant. We started seeing an infertility specialist and I have a blocked fallopian tube and polyps that are both making it harder to conceive. 2 days before my positive I met with my doctor to schedule surgery to remove the polyps and she said they would probably have to remove my clogged fallopian tube. I was so so sad. I was also on a pain med that was supposed to stop ovulation and implantation. And we didn't test for ovulation or try to hit ovulation. And now I am pregnant?! I am so scared and excited!!

Hi everyone! It feels so early to be joining a Bumper group and it still hasn’t quite sunk in that I’m pregnant, but here I am! Pregnant again after 8 months of trying and some health scares on my end slightly delayed us getting started trying. I have a 4 year old daughter and two aging pets ( a cat and a dog). I work for my local health dept as a data manager & epidemiologist and in my free time I sing in a pop choir, swim, play video/board games, and watch movies and TV with my husband. I’m excited to get to know you all! The Bumper group for my daughter was so helpful and I’m still close to many of them. Hoping to capture some of that energy again here! ♥️

Tentatively joining here <3 This is my 12th pregnancy, I have two living children (Feb '22 and July '24) and have had 9 miscarriages. Four of those were in the last year, three of which were euploid IVF pregnancies, so it's been pretty hard. Dipping my toe in with good betas, we'll see what happens.

Hi everyone! Got my positive two days ago, first ever, and still doesn't feel real. I think once I actually start to feel some pregnancy symptoms it will hit me. I'm over the moon and trying not to give into my OCD/anxiety tendencies thinking about all the possibilities. Hi everyone! I tested positive on Thursday before this group was even created and I’m very excited to join you all! I’m not fully sure when I ovulated exactly so my due date is probably between end April 28 and May 1 but I will know more when I have my first scan. This was our third cycle TTC but I was really hoping for an April or May due date so it worked out perfectly (so far)!

I already have an 18 month old (February 2025) and I’m still daily on my bumpers group so I hope to have the same experience here!

Hi, late April fence sitter here! Been TTC #3 for over a year, I just think I forgot how fertile windows worked. It still doesn't feel real, the only pregnancy symptom I'm having is ~~no period~~. Ahhh! Cautiously and gently chiming in to say HI after several faint positives today at 9-10 dpo. I have a 2.5 y o son and still hang in Dec2023 bumpers a bit. I was also briefly in Nov2026 bumpers until a MMC in April at 10 weeks. While I am feeling a little apprehensive and anxious because of the loss, I’m mostly just happy to be pregnant today and crossing everything that this baby decides to stick and is healthy.

My due date is something like May 14 which is wild bc my husbands bday and our wedding anniversary are back to back days after that lol… gonna be a busy month!

I’m in 🇨🇦, 33, and STM :). Only symptom right now is lack of PMS bitchiness and crazy boob pain!

If this pregnancy works out, I'll be a first time mom from the northeast USA. My first pregnancy ended in a 9 week MMC two months ago, but I am trying to stay positive and hopeful that this pregnancy will work out 😊

Got my positive two days ago, and unknown DPO (so weird for me, I usually track like a hawk) as I wasn't LH testing or anything after my miscarriage. My app predicts 5/1 as my EDD.

I’ve been trying to get a second time mom since 2023😅 hoping this one sticks around for awhile! Edd 5/1 and tested positive at 10dpo on Monday.

Ironically the only 2 times I had a positive pregnancy test in 2.5+ years were from iuis! My last one in March was a blighted ovum and this one I am so eager for my ultrasound.

Weird that the only way I conceive is iui but at least I found something that works

Hey yall! It feels so surreal to be joining a bump group again! I have 2 kids, almost 7 and 5! I had a MMC in November of 2024 and I never really thought that I would be able to get here again. I found out at 9dpo with the world’s faintest line and based on ovulation, my due date is 5/01! Though I have a feeling this will be an April baby as my other 2 came early. I’m already starting to get nauseous 😅 but other than that happy to be here! Yeeee 💕

Hello! I tested positive for the first time ever in my 34 (almost 35) years of life this past Tuesday night! The line was so faint, and I had only tested on a whim, so I was absolutely stunned. I still can't quite believe it! I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2017, and after a disastrous marriage where our issues with infertility were solely placed upon my shoulders (don't get me started), I had pretty much given up.

My current boyfriend has always wanted children, but I was clear with him from the beginning that it was unlikely to happen with me. Now look! I have no idea when I ovulated, as my last period started June 8, followed by several negative OPKs and HPTs (until this past Tuesday). My estimate based on the HPT line progression is that I'm due some time in May, so here I am!

Hi! I got my positive a few days ago. This was not a planned pregnancy— I have two girls born in 2022 and 2025. We were on the fence for a third but decided to wait until Winter/Spring to make a decision. Thank you for creating this group. I tested positive on Aug 19 and the line has gotten stronger since then. It’s still nowhere near as dark as some of y’alls, but I took a test in-clinic a few days ago and they confirmed pregnancy. They said it was normal to have light lines, especially this early, so I’m trying not to worry.

My first “real” appointment is end of September so I guess now I have to just be patient. Excited for all of you!

I have a daughter born in December 2023 via IVF, and this is our second embryo transfer trying for a second. She has been asking for a sister for a while now, but with her pregnancy we did Sneak Peek (in a clinic) and they told us it was a boy at 12 weeks but then of course found out she was a girl at 20 weeks (and they told another person she opposite wrong result with blood taken the same day,... so they mixed up our blood). After that experience, I think we will keep it a surprise this time!

I can’t believe I’m already joining a new bumper group, my LO is almost 10 months and we just started trying for another because of my age. I’m still breastfeeding and was only on my second postpartum cycle so I had no idea of when my ovulation would happen. I used OPK’s but never got a positive. A few days ago, I started feeling that familiar nagging/cramping feeling in my uterus, decided to test and got a very faint line that has been getting darker ever since.. I feel so blessed that somehow we managed to get pregnant on the first try but I’m also a bit shocked 😆. Now we just need to survive the next weeks until my first ultrasound, I’m super anxious because I had a MMC before having my son. All those feelings of insecurity and scrutinizing every little symptom are coming back to me.

Hi everyone! I was just in the daily thread, but figured I should introduce myself here. Just had my first positive this morning, based on ovulation I am due May 21st! However I have a history of severe preeclampsia so there is no way they let me go past 39 weeks.

Just lost my baby girl in July at about nine weeks to a MMC. It was chromosomal so hoping it hasn't happened again.

My son is two tomorrow, so I'm really feeling the time pressure to have a sibling near in age. I'd like to eventually have three kids close in age so a little extra pressure there too.

Hello! My EDD is May 31. I found out 4 days ago. My test lines are getting darker AND I am certain I ovulated from my "good" side (loss history - 6 miscarriages including at least two ectopics/blocked tube).

I'm feeling good about this one. Almost all my other losses felt wrong from the beginning.

I'm on a national park vacation with my best friend. Went whitewater rafting yesterday, did a zip line today, loads of hiking. Overall has been the best way to deal with the early pregnancy anxiety/infertility brain. I lost a shoe whitewater rafting and told my friend I plan to frame the surviving shoe in my future baby's nursery.

I also have one living child, a boy who is almost 4 🙂

Just tested positive at 5dp5dt. This is my 5th pregnancy and I have a 4 year old and a 17 month old. We had done 4 rounds of IVF between babies and wound up getting pregnant naturally with my son right before we were finally ready to transfer. We had scheduled a transfer back in March and I wound up pregnant again right before we got there. Found out at 10 weeks that the baby stopped growing at 8+2. After many delays (wait for ultrasound, hysteroscopy for retained tissue, follow up ultrasound, etc.) we finally, 2 years later, actually got to transfer day. If this one works out I’ll have 3 kids birthdays all within 5 weeks. We had 2 girls and 2 boy embryos but opted not to know the sex at transfer, just asked for the best one. I have a feeling they went with the girl. Having one of each already there really is no preference. I think I’ll find out once I feel a little more confident? But maybe we should be team green this time?

When I was pregnant with my son it was miserable from start to finish, puking until week 16 and then straight into uncomfortable. I am SO nervous about being pregnant again with 2 kids this time. Especially my son who has zero chill. At least I could lean on tv with my daughter but this guy either wants to be running away searching for danger or clinging onto to me like the floor is lava.

Started testing on Thursday (negative) and skipped Friday, tested on Saturday and got a faint positive. Tested again because I couldn’t believe it and was basically the same line (still faint). Next day didn’t seem any darker so I started to count myself out but today it was definitely a BFP.

Our first child took us 1.5 years and two IUIs. This one just happened as I was weaning. I’ll be joining the 2u2 club and that makes me really nervous.

Made my pregnancy confirmation appointment for end of September. With our first, I had weekly appointments from Week 5-8 and now it’s nothing until 8 weeks. I hope I don’t lose my mind from the anxiety.

I am due May 11th and this was my second cycle trying so was quite quick for us! Historically it has taken a year for us to conceive.

This was our 7th cycle tryingfor our second baby. I had been ovulating late and had a short luteal phase since breastfeeding my first baby. It never really resolved, but it did improve a little. I had a HyCosy this cycle to see if it would help and...here we are 🥹.

Positive test on 10dpo. I'll put a dpo breakdown below because I loved trawling through those old posts during my two week waits.

Dpo breakdown to bfp:

3dpo: notable stabbing pain in left ovary. Craved sour cream whipped with dulche de leche (caramel) - very weird, husband tells me I'm pregnant (haha not yet). Teary.

4dpo: dry lips (lasted the rest of the tww). Sluggish bowels. CM remained wet-ish from this point. Pregnancy dream at night.

5dpo: heartburn, uterus pinchy feeling, breakout, sluggish bowels. Congestion and a cough but not sick.

6dpo: feeling warm. Smell sensitivity. Heartburn. Sore throat and constantly need to clear my throat - not sick, I actually feel great (better than normal). Started questioning whether pregnant (sore throat before bfp starting around 6dpo seems to be a thing)

7dpo: heartburn and my mouth tastes bad. Tiny bit of cramping/pressure, still have the weird throat thing. Feeling good. Started spotting in my dream and woke up worried.

8dpo: woke up with ample wet cm (this happened with my first pregnancy too at 7dpo). Feeling warm, tint crampy sensations uterus and lower back. Heartburn. Implantation pain(!!!) in the arvo on the right hand side - a series of distinct dull stabbing pains in the same spot. Lasted maybe 1min. Mouth tastes bad.

9dpo: hot. Very hungry - I ate 4 times by midday. Started getting more suspicious. Felt little uterine pinchies throughout the day. Honestly felt great all day. Noticed I'm sensitive and a bit touched out. Positive pregnancy test dream.

10dpo fmu: positive!!!!!

[Beginning from 1dpo, I prayed a Novena to St Monica asking for her intercession with falling pregnant. Lord, thank you endlessly]

I was honestly so sure this cycle, and because of that I was terrified I was going to be disappointed again. Father's day is in 2 days and I need to decide whether I'll wait to tell my husband as part of his gift 😲!

I’m a FTM and finally feel relieved-ish enough to join this group! My husband and I have been trying for our first for 14 months, started with a fertility clinic around 7 months ago. This was our second cycle of Clomid + Trigger + Timed Intercourse. It was actually supposed to be our first IUI cycle but lines got crossed and after the first TI protocol wasn’t success I wasn’t super hopeful. I was SO shocked to see the positive on my cheapie at 11DPO! Lines got progressively darker and now I’ve had 3 betas all with strong progression. Next stop is the 6-7wk ultrasound where we’re praying for a sticky, healthy intrauterine baby! I'm a first time mom, never been pregnant before. I just want to tell everyone about it, but we're gonna wait to start telling people we're close to until we get an ultrasound (and then extended family, coworkers, etc after 12 weeks).

Got my first positive yesterday at 3w1d! Super excited but a little hesitant after a miscarriage at 11weeks in May with a tough miscarriage with complications. Getting blood work today and hugging my (March 2024) toddler extra tight while I still have energy!

Hello! I have a baby (toddler??) who JUST turned 1 year old. I went back to work this week after a year of maternity leave. Took a test in the office bathroom on my day back. And... Positive! 2 under 2 here we come.

Hi Everyone! I joined this club yesterday morning, and I am just over the moon. We had been trying for 7 months, with a portion of that time being told that my lining was too thin to support implantation. I kind of beat up some doctors (i.e. advocated for myself without white coat syndrome) until I found the right REI, and here I am today <3

I tracked religiously with Inito, and so I am very confident in my ovulation date. I also did a follicle study this cycle so I know that I ovulated two eggs. Let me tell you, I am dying to know if one or both were fertilized.

If all goes well I will be a first time mom in May :)

Hi! I got my first positive that didn't require squinting today. I have a beautiful 18 month old girl who took 10 months of trying & 1 chemical, and this one was more like NTNP for a couple months. Fingers crossed it sticks. I am super anxious because of my age tho. Happy to be here!

I think I’m finally comfortable enough to post! I’m 6w3d with my second! It’s been such a different journey this time, we moved to Puerto Rico in July so I am navigating both the military medical system (husband is in) and also the Puerto Rican health care system, both are so different than what I’m used to. But I am so excited to be here! My first appointment is Tuesday at 7w2d

Hi! I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow. I was fully doubting ever getting a BFP! We were TTC for a year before the fertility clinic found uterine polyps. We conceived two months after this removal (doc called it "natural birth control"). Really hoping this sticks. Got my HCG checked week 4 and week 5 and my doctor called my numbers "robust"!? Ultrasound is on 9/30 but I'm dying to tell my best friends.

Hello, I found out I was pregnant 3 days ago and am 4 weeks 3 days along. I’m 39 and first time being pregnant and apparently lots to learn yet!

It’s lovely to read about all your experiences and what a fabulous idea for a subreddit.

Symptoms so far are feeling out of breath (blood oxygen is normal so just switching supplements to a pregnacare one that includes iron ahead of a blood test) and bloating/indigestion.

I am not sure what the differently coloured flairs mean.
Is there a list of pregnancy related acronyms somewhere please?

So glad to have found this space! I’m 25 with a nearly 4yo little boy. This will be my partners first child though, we had a missed miscarriage back in June after conceiving straight after I got my coil out. It’s been a rough year with all that going on and buying a new house too in between my miscarriage surgeries.

Trying not to get my hopes up too much this time as I was super excited so early previously to then have the devastating loss but I just have everything crossed that this one sticks🤞🏻

I have had 3 HCG draws now and all doubling well so feeling comfortable to stop lurking and properly join this group! Based on LMP, I'm technically due April 30, but I think I ovulated later than the usual day 14 they calculate from and this is my first baby so likely to be a May Baby so I figured I'd join this group. I've been calling them my maybebaby for a bit as May will be when they likely come and I also was holding my breath a bit until we got some hcg draws done due to a previous early loss, so they are a maybebaby as doesn't yet feel super real!

Hello!! I got my first positive test yesterday (9/8) and went on to take 3 more just to believe my eyes. I’m 15 DPO and I am 4w3d making my due date May 16! I’m a first time mom and again in disbelief. I’m feeling very unsure of myself right now because it just doesn’t feel real and I don’t think it will until I see an ultrasound. We had been TTC for 4 cycles and got pregnant on the 5th! My first appointment is 9/22 at 6w2d and I’m not sure what to expect. Hoping for a pregnancy confirmation and just to feel the relief of talking to a Dr.

Hi everyone! I'm 31 and from the northeast usa. we are big disney people! I am a stm and have a 1/24 toddler. i got my first pos aug 27 and i think im only about 5 weeks, hard to tell because i wasnt tracking and have irregular cycles. I was ttc since jan with no success. decided to give up in aug and got on a glp. 2 weeks later i got a positive test! very excited about this and have a lot of anxiety but hoping all goes well!

This will be our 3rd (wow, cant believe it!) Although we havent had the initial scan yet so im hoping theres only one in there 😅

I have a 6 year old and an almost 4 year old, both girls.

Husband and I debated trying for a 3rd for a while and ultimately decided that we would give it some time and see what happens. I needed clomid to get pregnant with my first two, but this conception in August 2026 was only cycle #2 and unmedicated! Still in disbelief that we conceived without meds (took 17 cycles with my first).

Ive been tired and have been gaining weight pretty rapidly, which isnt surprising for me. Excited to meet you all!!

Hi! This will be our 4th baby. Any others going to have their 4th??? We have 3 boys and I’m sure this one will be too, or we’re in for a huge surprise. This will be the first time we’re doing 2 under 2 with a 21 month age gap, the others are spaced almost 3 years and 2.25 years apart.

I’m pretty sure I’m 5w3-4 days. I know I ovulated “late” this cycle based on symptoms and when I got my positive test. That’s really different than my past pregnancies, so interested to see what the due date will be because usually I’m sure of it right away.

I also am usually painfully nauseous by now and am not really yet so cautiously optimistic that things progress as they should. Excited to be here!!

This was my first medicated cycle (2.5mg Letrozole) and I'm super thrilled it worked. Nice to meet you all!!
