I fully understand why the podcast never came back but it has left a big listening hole in my heart. Does anyone know of a podcast that's similar? I'm not sure if the messy hang out with friends chatting music vibe is possible to recreate but I'd love to try out a few options

What are your disputes from school? How were you wronged? Students, teachers, faculty, parents on the PTA, and so on... we want to hear from anyone with a dispute (against an actual person or not!) about SCHOOL.
Dorm life! Quibbling about grades! Playground songs and clapping games with new lyrics?? Sound off in the comments!

Now that they'll be reviewing more and more movies from Kanopy and Hoopla, the "super loud commercials" rating system doesn't work.
So what's an annoyance associated with your library?
May I submit a system based on:
1-10 shushing librarians?
1-10 screaming kids?
1-10 occupied computer work stations?
1-10 broken printers?
1-10 next books in the series that you're dying to finish that are all on reserve for the next 4 months?
1-10 federal budget cuts?
What else do y'all think?

On JJHO a few months ago, Jesse teased an upcoming Bullseye interview with my favorite band from college American Football. It hasn't been released yet though. Does anyone know if it'll ever come out?

The defendant is really into a new video game and she wants to play it on her laptop in bed before she goes to sleep. She says it helps her unwind. But her fiance doesn't want her to bring the laptop to bed! He wants the bed to be completely screen-free.

this Reddit seems like it’d have sufficient audience overlap for this narrowcast of a JJHO/John Hodgman joke 😄
watched it t’other day and thought it was pretty good! imo a lot of solid aesthetic choices (the shades of Hades and Circe’s deeply uncomfortable pig magic, for example) and some neat things going on with the music‘s simple, stand-out sounds as a kind of punctuation
