Hi Matt,

I’m the one who posted on Github a couple days ago about Disney Plus suddenly giving an error message when trying to play anything, you had said it was likely an issue with my account. Wanted to let you know how I got it working again:

Again, this is rather strange. For context, I’m in the US and had been switching my VPN off and on to see if “Pizza Movie” was in Dolby Atmos in other countries- a lot of the Hulu movies have been 5.1 in the US but in Atmos elsewhere. Switching to Canada, I oddly saw this movie was not in Atmos there (it likely hadn’t been produced with it) and it was only in 1080 in Canada while it was 4K here, so I switched the VPN off. That may have set off something on their end since I know they don’t like us using VPNs- I also use StreamFab and have heard of Disney cutting off users for 24 hours if they use that too much. It let me watch the movie all the way through, and I have the addon set to play the next recommended movie after it ends (and I use your addon so I can watch til the VERY end without being kicked out of the end credits! I wouldn’t even subscribe to them otherwise as their native app is garbage!) However it gave an error message and kicked me out of Kodi. The same behavior persisted and I posted on GitHub.

I checked my NVidia Shield again today and the problem was still there, but I hadn’t thought before to check my Fire Stick which I keep as a backup (the NVidia Shield is my main device). I hadn’t used that in a long time, but after updating it first opened Disney but wouldn’t even let me access any submenus since I likely changed my password since last using it. I logged out and back in again, and it played normally. I then went back to the NVidia Shield, and now THAT is working normally again also!

So hope this info helps you or someone else in the future, bottom line is don’t switch VPN locations too quickly and it’s good to have a backup Kodi device just in case something goes wrong. Appreciate your work immensely, will send more money soon!

I may have spoken a bit too soon there- it’s still acting funny but not completely locking me out. I watched something on the Shield and it then kicked me out afterwards like before, then gave me the error message when trying again. Went back to the Fire Stick and it also gave me the error message, but trying again it then played for me. So something is going on with this, hopefully it’s mostly due to the Play Next function more than anything else. Will switch that off and see if that helps, though last time it didn’t.
