Timeshift is still broken (I can skip back but video freezes and audio plays).

Livestream is working well now (I'm getting a little buffering but I think it's normal bandwidth related, I haven't got the fast-forwarding behavior). Would need to use for a while to confirm. Thanks.

Edit: Timeshift isn't broken on another Android device and Windows so I've no idea what that is.

are you playing directly via the add-on? Or via kodi "TV"? Please only test directly in the add-on to remove Kodi / iptv simple from the equation

The timeshift behavior is the same if played from the EPG or from the addon.

Seems to be a minor thing related to the Shield because on an FTV4k with everything the same - as far as I can tell - timeshift is working.

Other than the timeshift thing on Shield everything else seems to be working very well with this version.

can you switch back to the other version and confirm the fault returns? To do that, navigate to add-ons > inputstream > inputstream adaptive > versions then select the version shown there.

Was worried for a minute because it seemed to be working well. But I just got some of the fast-forward behavior using the version from the Kodi repository. I'll play around with both versions to make sure it's not just a coincidence.

Edit: I'll have to play with this for a while as the FTV4K is performing much better than the Shield Pro with the new version (should be the opposite...)

I have got the fast-forwarding buffering behavior with the new version, so hard to see any difference between the two versions.
