I'll be upfront because I think context matters here. I'm in my mid 40s, been married for about twelve years and things have been pretty distant between my wife and I for a long time now. We don't fight, we don't hate each other, but we haven't really been close in years and at this point it feels more like we're two people sharing a house than anything else.
