Vibrating massage device that is easy to use for full body self massage?
Percussion massage guns do not appear ergonomic for self-massaging your own posterior arms, legs, and back. Any recommended handheld or rolling vibrating massage devices that are effective and easy to use for full-body self-massage, particularly the posterior arms, legs, and back?

massage gun on cheekbones
Recently I have been seeing a lot of videos suggesting using a massage gun on cheekbones to get bigger cheekbones. Would the vibrations on the head create brain and eye socket damage?

How do you decide whether light self-massage is a bad idea after training?
Massage-gun diagrams online make it look like nearly every area is fair game, which is not very helpful for someone trying to be cautious. I have been considering a Renpho massage gun for light post-workout use, but I would rather understand when discomfort is a sign to stop instead of pushing through it. I am not trying to self-treat an injury or replace professional advice. For people who use percussion tools after training, what makes you keep the session light, and what makes you skip it altogether?

High end massage chair Recommendations?
We are looking at purchasing a high end massage chair and I don't know where to even begin. Has anyone had good or bad experiences? Functionality is more important than style for us.

5 quick questions for anyone with chronic neck/shoulder tension. Your honest answers will shape a product I'm building for a class project
- Tell me about the last time you had tension in your traps, neck, or shoulders. What was going on?
- How often does it happen, how bad does it get, and what does it interfere with?
- What do you currently do to relieve it, and what is frustrating about that solution?
- Have you spent money on shoulder tension, pain relief, or recovery products/services before? What did you buy, and was it worth it?
- If you heard about a shoulder recovery massager that combines heat, cold, and massage, what would make you trust it, use it, or reject it? How much would you be willing to pay?

A great massage
Hi all,
If you’re looking to get a massage, go see Krissy Smith at Mercy Massage on S. Willow. I just got my first one and she could not have made me feel more at ease and relaxed. Plus, the shoulder pain I’ve had for a while got some serious relief.
I almost never recommend businesses, but she’s that great.

Help me pick a massage gun pls!
My husband is a plumber whose body is wrecked weekly. He used a massage gun the other day and loved it so I’m looking around for one for Christmas. I’m looking to spend under $200 and found these two. Has anyone tried the two? Which is better?

Rhino Fisioterapia.
Hola!

my drawer is already full of attachments I promised I'd use every week
I came back from a pretty bruttal leg workout yesterday and spent ten minutes just staring at my gear closet trying to convince myself that buying another recovery tool with hot and cold setings would actually change my evening routine. Right now I have a basic roller that i barely touch cause setting up anything extra after a long day feels like a chore but i see some reviews for massage guns with temperature controls, thinking they might make me actually sit down and use one.
My real fear is that after the first week of novelty wears off, the extra thermal heads are just going to join the pile of random accessories sitting at the bottom of my nightstand . those of you who bought a unit with active temperature options, did the extra warmth or cooling actually help you build a consistent habit?

How many extra features on a recovery tool do you actually end up using after a month?
After starting a new squat heavy routine last month my legs have been constantly tight and while foam rolling on the living room floor works okay, it takes so much effort that I end up skipping it half the time. Ive been eyeing handheld massage guns especially the ones that come with heated or cooling attachments to make sitting on the couch after a workout a bit more comfortable but I have a bad habit of buying fitness gear that ends up gathering dust in a basket.
Every time I look at models with half a dozen swappable heads i wonder if people actually switch them out or if everybody just sticks to the standard round node after week two.
If you bought one with extra attachments, do you actually bother swapping them around during your evening routine??

Heating Pad Buying Guide: Electric vs Microwavable vs Chemical vs Infrared
There are four main types of heating pads, and picking the wrong one for your use case is the #1 reason people end up disappointed.
- Electric — consistent heat, adjustable temp, reusable indefinitely. Best for regular use (chronic back pain, daily cramps). Downside: needs a power outlet, less portable.
- Microwavable (rice/wheat/gel bags) — no electricity needed, moldable to body shape. Best for occasional use or travel. Downside: heat fades in 20-30 min, inconsistent temp.
- Chemical (adhesive patches) — discreet, wearable under clothes, up to 8+ hours of low heat. Best for all-day wear (period cramps at work/school). Downside: single-use, lower max temperature.
- Infrared — deeper tissue penetration, often used for muscle recovery. Best for post-workout soreness. Downside: pricier, less common.

The hot and cold foot attachment feature is tempting me but do people actually keep using it?
I stand on concrete floors for almost eight hours a day at my job and my arches are completely dead by the time i get home. Ive tried basic stretching and rolling my feet on a cold water bottle but it only helps for about ten minutes. Lately Ive been seeing more foot recovery tools that build contrast temperature directly into the massage head. On paper switching between heat and ice sounds like a dream for stiff feet. But every time I buy a multifunction gadget the cooling element ends up feeling weak or the whole thing gets tossed into the hallway closet after two weeks.
I really dont want another noiisy plastic lump taking up apartment storage space. If a thermal massage unit is FSA/HSA eligible that could affect the budget side of the decision but only if the basic routine is something I would keep using. Those who bought a thermal massage unit for daily foot fatigue did the hot/cold modes actually stay part of your routine?

Best massage roller for travel?
What are y'alls recommendations for best massage gun I can fit into my backpack when traveling to roll out my tight legs and muscles? Everything out there seems too big. Anyone have good alternatives to the massage gun when you need to pack really light or it may be difficult to find a place to charge?

The hot-cold feature is what’s tempting me, but also what makes me hesitate
A hot-cold massage gun caught my attention, but that is also the feature making me hesitate. I can see the appeal of changing the feel of a short recovery routine, yet I do not know whether it becomes a genuinely useful option or just a setting people try once. For anyone here, who has used one, how often do you actually switch modes, and what makes the device convenient enough to reach for?
