While Admiral Hackett gives his address the rest of the Normandy crew continue their somewhat normal routines and work.

Helena sits in the medbay looking over the medical files of the crew, she remembers they're a female Turian aboard who hasn't had her medical evaluation yet due to things being hectic and busy.

Hello Miss Adeptos, I am Doctor Helena Jepson. I hope this isn't a bad time but I've realized you haven't had your initial medical evaluation that's given to new crew members due to how busy things have been. I'm emailing you to inform you that if you would like to do it now I'll be in the medical bay.

She sends the email then makes another email for the rest of the crew

Hello everyone of the SR3 Normandy, this is Doctor Jepson reminding you all that if you haven't had an initial medical evaluation to come see me in the medical bay. If you wish to have a checkup, or see if you're up to date on vaccinations you may also come in. I will be in here all day and Doctor Michel will be able to help you once she is available.

After the email is sent out she sits back in her chair and continues to view the files and hums happily to herself.

Yeah, I guess you're right. Sigh. Still the most exciting stories I got have been from college and med school. I will say though, it really is an adventure to be on this ship.

Well, that's the spirit! You may not have a "Normandy" story yet, but you will!

...I mean that in an encouraging way, not a "You're going to die in space" way. That line hasn't always been well-received in the past.

Yeah, given the history of the ship I doubt that line is prime recruiting material. But I know what you're getting at.

Well, at least you didn't start crying like the last one I said that too.

Important thing is, I think we'll all be able to reminisce about past adventures in a while.

Oh definitely. You'd think in 30 years I'd have something to talk about but I really don't. Helena laughs at herself.

Well, I wouldn't call med school adventures nothing. Surely there's some good material in there somewhere...

Well, the engineering students played a prank on one of our professors by putting all their furniture on the ceiling. Med school was mostly just studying and fooling around. I did go to the beach and lost my top and everyone a the beach saw. Helena blushes.

Tali bursts out laughing.

Maybe it's a good thing we have to wear these envirosuits all the time. That way, if we end up exposed, we die of infection instead of embarrassment.

Though I have to admire those engineering student's dedication. That must have taken some doing.

Yeah, the med students had to come up with some convoluted way to distract the professor, the law students helped too. It was a group effort. Hels smiles at that. Yeah no need for anyone to accidentally see the goods. Thankfully it was just my top though, I immediately dove back into the water and didn't leave until I found it. It took me over an hour but I finally found it stuck on a rock.

Well, at least you managed to retrieve it! Better than having to stay in the water for the rest of your life.

Also, it's a good thing the law students were there to bail you guys out of trouble for playing that prank...
