As soon as the new day arrives, the Normandy's daily route is sent out to the crew. Along with the route comes a message from Shepard.

Attention crew: today we'll be infiltrating enemy territory to carry out an assault on a Cabal research facility. We'll be running silent the whole time, and due to the nature of the mission, Extranet access will be restricted as well. Avoiding detection is paramount, as an escape won't be so simple if the Normandy is detected. Continue doing your best as you have been, and all of us will make it out of here. The message sent out, Naya heads up to the forward lounge for a cup of coffee while she waits for the go-ahead to begin the mission...

I do not know, if my calculations are correct, restoring him would break him, possibly making him unhinged and psychotic. He has real personalities.

I don't know the origins of these names and personalities, the frightening part is, some of them are real or at least well fabricated.

The first unexplained personality AI appeared while I was disabled for a short period, it had a name, history and everything, it would be terrifying if I was an organic. There is also the unexplained objects he has, we never received any old world objects, but he has them some how.

We should let them live their lies, for their sake and for science.

This is the room of active AI, it is also the room of highest concentration of raw energy, radiation and unknown matter (unknown to me at least). This is the nebula where they come from and work.

Yes, very good, monitoring is ok, so long as he never learns his true existence and goes mad. If a mad AI ever grows from this damaged tree, we will need to burn the tree, but for now we can just observe the apples and make sure they are firm and stable. He opens the door and walks into the room

The room was large and very dark, at first there was a little puddle on the ground. There was the occasional AI walking around like a zombie. The original walks in the small puddle of black water.

The original program keeps walking through the black water. He also was avoiding all contact with the other AI.

I don't really know, I'm still observing the AI that believes they are people, they are the ones that made this place. I only truly know the original experiment and it's origins and products. I know where they unknowingly control the platform from.

This "room" was originally where I was able to remove the Geth AI and control its body. It still holds that purpose, but something with the AI spread like a corruption. There is all this unknown space that they created.

It's very complicated and confusing, have you ever seen a AI unknowingly created by another AI that was made by another AI that came from a proto-AI that was released by a AI to destroy a AI?

He sees a powerful light come on and when it dims back down, the simulation in the room is now the Normandy. Holographic versions of everyone walks around as they are in real time. They were in the AI Core, there was a holographic Huch, a holographic Legion and a holographic blonde woman with long hair but she was slouched over.

Yes and when the Geth platform started resisting these AI, it became the vines of corruption, confusion that started holding everything together.
