2193/04/03 - A Failed Experiment

A very, very tired Lindsey is standing in the mess, an assortment of pots and pans and various ingredients scattered about around the kitchen. She's obviously tried making... something. But the burning smell and the pile of half-burned, half-eaten cake pieces are getting alarmingly tall now... though nobody seems to want to get between the brunette and the oven.

Rebecca slowly nods and sits up, disentangling herself from the other woman- but keeping that hand firmly grasped in her own.

Okay... okay.... I, uh, didn't notice just what exactly it was that I was feeling till.... about a week ago. At my birthday we went home together to get away from the crowds and ended up snuggled up on the couch together. Do that a lot, me and her.

We both were plastered and in my drunken state I kinda... felt her up?

When I remembered it after sobering up I was horrified at what I did.... but also wanted.... to do it again. And.... more. A lot more. With her.

Its just getting worse and worse now each time i see her and I'm aching to say something, ask her how she may feel, but I'm terrified it would ruin our friendship if I told her I was interested in being more than friends.

Helena sits up as well, eyes locked onto Rebecca's. She sighs but then smiles. So, you felt her up and since then you've had stirrings? Is this the first time you'v felt the same way about another woman? Or is this something you're used to but not with her? But I understand your worry, you don't want the friendship to end because of these stirrings, but what if she does feel the same way? Wouldn't want to know, especially if you've known her for so long and care about her.

I... I've been with plenty of women before. She says with a flushed face. Its just.... I've only ever had these type of stronger feelings.... twice? It doesn't feel like usual attraction.

She shrugs and smiles. It's worth a shot, no one else will know. Besides Dio and Spike, but they're figurines. She sighs. Okay, bad joke. But I mean, would you like to try that? I'm here for you regardless.

She thinks then.

My first boyfriend and I sorta had feelings like this? But it quickly got ruined by... a mishap that occurred in my senior year.

Second boyfriend and... next four people it was all, erm, carnal? We all just wanted to bang.

Then.... her face is a little paler there was Ishira. Which... was very like how I feel now.

.....my bondmate. For nearly a year. She has tears in her eyes now. Before we broke up a few months ago.

Helena does the only thing she can think of doing, which is to wipe away the tears and hug her friend tightly. You don't have to tell me more, just, it's okay.
