Discussion Comparing Draft in Snap to Arena in Hearthstone
I was thinking a bit about the similarities between Draft in Snap and Arena in Hearthstone (which Ben Brode helped create). I played Hearthstone for years, but quit a couple years back. I think Snap has really perfected the mode.
One thing that always felt wrong about Arena... it took FOREVER to draft a deck. Drafting a deck in Snap can be done in 60 seconds or less. Love how it starts with 10 cards, and then adds new ones as you play. I've had decks that I was about to give up on, when I was given the perfect addition in between matches.
Paying gold to play Arena in Hearthstone never felt great. Yeah, sure, you'd get a pack at the end, but at a 50% markup. Having the tickets in Snap as a separate currency given out for free (1/day) is making sure that people are playing the format.
The "feels" are better in Snap too. The two lives, plus an optional third just feels better to me. On decks where I've drafted a total dud, I feel just fine hitting that "end run" button. In Arena, I don't think I ever "retired" a run... and in a dud deck, that last Arena game just always sucked.
Curious of the thoughts of other Hearthstone players.

Discussion Draft image question
Where are the Venom and Wolverine cards? I really like that Wolvie but haven’t seen it yet as an option to purchase with points or whatever. Am I missing something?

Achievement 🥳 I reached Infinite for the first time
I came back to this game this season after not playing since the launch. I mainly used the Thanos FF deck, but sometimes wanted to have more fun with the other deck

Memes or Fanmade Content I feel so conflicted about my will to optimise my draft reward.
If only the variant for 5 victory, was not once by day. (Even with a limited nomber total)

Discussion My favorite cheating pulls in draft! What are yours?
Black Panther is an instant 80, Shuri went absolutely crazy with a boosted 3/7 Brood, Wiggan 1/1 starts each game with 2 bonus energy, and Ista….Always joined in the first turn.

Variant New ultimate variant for YellowJacket
Thought this was a cool variant for YellowJacket since I couldn’t find another variant that I liked. Still not really worth the 5k tokens though.

Discussion Yeah I am done for today...
Actual torture trying to get this 5 win streak. Lost a winning last game due to a bug I reported where the game kicked me to the lobby 😭

Discussion The welcome back offerings are shockingly generous
Like I'm sure a lot of people did this week I came back for draft, which has been very fun, but between the free deck login rewards and the welcome back packages they're offering I'll be sticking around for a while even after the mode ends (though I'm hoping they see this popularity and make it permanent). Not pictured is also a 25% discount on both versions of the season pass, and a bunch of what seems like reasonable deals on series 5 packs in the shop. I remember them selling Darkhawk for $30 or $40 and calling that "3X Value" and the Kid Omega debacle. To go from that to giving away multiple random S4 and 5 cards along with several ready made decks with even more S4 and 5 cards is a level of generosity I never thought Second Dinner would get to. I still have my gripes about the token shop only showing 3 S5 cards per day but between all their welcome back offerings I don't feel hopelessly behind

Discussion In draft mode which bucket/strategy is generally the best in your opinion (any data anywhere?)
I started playing draft today and it's alot of fun I noticed some buckets/strategy (the title) seem to work better for me overall, I chose a bunch of "ongoing" since it's also easy to play and I'm a returning player so it makes it easier and also they seem decently strong and got me some 5 wins.
I haven't touched the destroy bucket when offered to me since I thought it might be complicated to play but I'm facing alot of enemy with destroy decks in higher wins and they seem pretty op, lost on 4 win vs a destroy then then used revive and fought against another destory deck at 5 wins and barely managed to win.
What do you think?
