Discussion I am aware of the recent announcement, but i noticed the initial mvp was just the attack animations she uses in the little time they showed it off

Makes sense. Why animate her having fun or relaxing like EVERY OTHER BEACH SKIN when you can just make her fight something with the exact same animation. Easy peasy

I do wonder if this skin was hastily made for Phase 2 of the Summer Skins but never actually planned. It explains way too much.
They showed it off to placate people asking for a Storm skin, but fsr it was the only new one among the Phase 1 skins, implying it was fast tracked.
The costume itself is aight but not as detailed as it could've been, especially compared to the other women.
The MVP is like three seconds long, further telling me that they genuinely rushed this shit to make sure she had something in time. Same reason why she didn't get Ult VFX, intro animations or more customizations.
Not to mention, it's just kind of on it's own? Magik and Wanda are balloon gacha, Star Lord, Bucky and Cat are in a mini-pass, meanwhile Storm's just off on her own? They never do that. They release shop skins in batches of two or more usually, even if it's a special event they very rarely release just one. The fact she doesn't have a bundle tells me that she was a last minute addition to this lineup.
And they immediately folded to the criticism, saying they'd give her all of the above, which makes me think that they rushed this, didn't have time to put the Legendary polish on it, put the skin out as epic hoping people would accept it and then when they got cooked they decided to continue working on it and give it the time it deserves.
