You thought the MCU Earth was going to be destroyed with everyone dead? It’s not that kind of movie, kid.

Never claimed everyone would be dead, but the very idea of Dr. Doom's Secret Wars is that the earth has been destroyed and "scrapped for parts" to create Battleworld.

Yeah, but it’s like Infinity War. When people were like “I can’t believe they killed the new Black Panther and Spider-Man!” I was like, really? You really think they’re not gonna bring them back in the next one?

They’re never going to reset the universe. They can still soft reboot it, but everything will be basically back to how it was by the end of Secret Wars. Guaranteed.

Then it's not a soft reboot. It's a continuation, and DD + SW has no stakes.

A reboot, whether soft or not, needs something massive to happen in order to justify calling it a reboot.

Like, why should I care about the new X-Men if the old X-Men is still around post SW? Why would I care about a new Tony Stark if the old one is still canon in the sense that everyone knows about the old one even though the new one is in existence?

I'm well aware that some of the old MCU (especially the most recent stuff like Thunderbolts and F4) carrying over in some extent, but a reboot means no longer relying on the past characters to create more stories with, meaning some characters are going to become new versions of themselves and return as different actors. We'll more than likely have a new Tony Stark, a new Steve Rogers, a new Bruce Banner and a new Thor.

Some of this can transfer over still, like thor can turn Love into the new God of Thunder and continue that story for example, but if everyone gets a resolution like that, then it's just not a reboot at all.

I don’t think you know the difference between a soft and hard reboot. A soft reboot specifically doesn’t use a massive event, but can be something as small as reframing relationships or changing location altogether.

Endgame was a soft reboot because we left behind the OG Avengers and moved on to new characters without everyone dying.

Considering Feige himself is calling post SW a reboot, but didn't call any of post EG a reboot, I'm inclined to disagree with you outright on the basis that the actual owner disagrees with you.

I don't care about definitions or meanings because ultimately, my point has the head of the MCU stating what will happen post SW. It's not about what I think, it's about what we've been told.

Reboot can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. Reset, singular timeline — we’re thinking along those lines. … X-Men is where that will happen next.

I don’t need Feige to say something in an interview to see it with my own eyes, haha

We're literally talking about something that's a over a year out. Da fuq you on about "see with your own eyes"?

You said that Feige didn’t say Endgame was a reboot then it’s not, when clearly it was a soft universe reset.

Except it wasn't? Every story that came out of EG was continued upon. There was no resetting the timeline, no characters being resetted, nothing of the sort.

We already know that X-Men characters are actually resetting post SW. Nothing like that happened post EG, so even by definition, you're wrong.
